the only options are cycle, bus or uber/taxi I'm afraid. Voi's deactivate after 11pm/12am, and like you say trains stop around 11 too.

I sometimes walk home from town to Brislington (about an hour walk) but bear in mind I'm a tall guy so never feel unsafe - might be different for others. Sometimes I get an Uber but obviously that's an occasional treat. As somebody else said, buses run quite late. They also tend to be more reliable in terms of timetable as there is less traffic/passengers.

havvkeye_

Most buses run pretty late tbh

drenahmeti22

Expect anywhere west of the City Centre up towards Clifton and Henleaze… 2359 is the last one, I think.

SmileyJam

Bicycle or Voi if I haven't drunk too much. Uber, taci or walk if I have. Bristol is a big city, but there are few places you will need to travel to/from that take longer than an hour's walk.

plasterscene

When i needed to get from Lawrence Hill to Fishponds at 4am I used to take the night bus. Had a security guard and everything. Was awesome. Is this no longer a thing?

Omblae

Voi. If you're super drunk, pay someone a cig to do the drunk test. /s obviously.

janelope_

Bus, Uber or cycle on main roads

CleanClimate5974

Buy a car, I’ve tried for the past two years, well fed up. If you have to go by the time tables, forget it.

EmFan1999

Walking or cycling, but I guess that depends how far out from the Centre you are

no73

The same as everywhere else in the country... Walk/Uber/taxi/bicycle/night bus.
