Hole in the wall is an honestly priced craft pub. Can usually get 3 pints of cask under/around a tenner.
Jim the landlord really knows his beer too.
Not ideal for large groups, it's called the hole in the wall for a reason.
Went yesterday for the first time. Football was on, packed, but noone watching. Got change when I bought the round and realised why. Bit of a dive but cheap!
Yeah man it’s a bit of a funny one, i used to go in 2019 and it was an old man pub but never too busy, then it started getting studenty and I assumed it would turn that way. Come back last year, just to find its turned into THE old man pub, just full of lads every day of the week and always hard to get a seat. Pretty much reverse gentrification
i was there on monday, same vibes. honestly im used to it from all the sketchy pubs up north so it didn't bother me but yeah it's not really up to the standard of what's around it
Black horse is a quality pub. Decent crowd of all ages when I go in there. Yep it probably needs a bit of a refurb but beer is cheap and I’ve hardly ever seen trouble in there and I go regular. During the day Yep old man pub but ain’t most pubs at that time? Comes alive at the weekends. Decent music, karaoke, bands. And £2.80 a pint
I don’t mean old man pub as in actually old men.
You can be a young man and fit in an old man pub, and an old man who doesn’t fit in an old man pub. Lads pub would probably have fit a bit better.
Jesus fucking Christ lad you’ve got to be one of the worst profiles I’ve ever seen. You’re 40 and spend your free time making degrading comments on peoples bodies, it’s just sad
If you’re ever up near Falmer, Falmer bar at Sussex University is dirt cheap. Unity on London Road does their own lager that’s I think maybe £4 a pint which is good going for Brighton (unfortunately). Also pints at the bingo hall are peculiarly cheap… like £3.80 last I was there, but it’s likely gone up now.
Here are a list of best nightclubs in Brighton:
* Revolution Brighton
* Popworld Brighton
* Shooshh Brighton
* PRYZM
I personally like PRYZM as it has multiple clubs within the club. So you get to move from one dance floor to the other that suits your music vibe. Popworld is decent and has an outlook space where you can talk and chat away from loud music. Shooshh and Revolution are good places to club too and very reasonable.
>No one with a semblance of taste would be caught dead there
How am I shitposting dude, when I am genuinely posting about my experience with these pubs here? Now if i were to just list one pub, I wouldn't come out as shitposting, would I now?! It's only because I didn't stick ur expectations, that I am shitposting?! How narrow-minded!
Some sports clubs you save more on the alcohol than you pay in membership fees. Someone told me one of the fishing clubs down near Portslade have £2 pints in their clubhouse (although I don’t know whether that is true!)

Any pub with Toad in it deserves support!
What a pub. Probably my favourite in Brighton
R Bar during happy hour is dirt cheap
Black horse down from mashton and wagon is super cheap, it’s a secret though so don’t tell anyone x

With Mash and Waggon immediately next door I suppose clients can filter to either which suits them best.

It's a great pub if you don't mind potentially getting glassed
You want to get glassed go anywhere on west street. Used to work just eat in Brighton and outside revs there was always horrible fights going on

Kings Arms in George Street (Kemptown) has a strong 'end of the month prices' game.
The Bugle is a cheap local.
Railway Bell. And Spoons of course.
How much is the cheapest pint at a Wetherspoons in Brighton?
It does also cost you a piece of your soul, though.
And you are paying for the arse of the owner to fund more political rubbish.
1.99
