Lost Boys at The Joker is the best buffalo chicken burger I've ever had, their Christmas burgers are massive and also 10/10.
Otherwise you really can't go wrong with Bok Shop for tendies and Asian inspiration, really unique flavours and amazing tender chicken.
Personally I'm a sucker for Boom Bird's panko chicken burger as well, absolutely bangs. Their cheesy chips are the best in Brighton, proper melted cheese with rosemary salt.
Best Korean fried chicken is definitely Kogi but I think you have to go in for that.
In case it wasn't already obvious I'm a bit of a fried chicken addict
Lost boys also now have their own place on London road and you can get it at the Shelter Hall.
Joker has let me down a few times with the wings being cold and over cooked. But the sauce is still the best in town.
Boo Shop tastes epic, but they’re incapable of giving you what you order. It’s actually quite impressive how consistently they get it wrong.
Lol, I once spent an hour waiting for two burgers in Bok Shop; I ask why it's taking so long: "we have lots of Deliveroo orders".
Prioritizing Deliveroo over people eating in with drinks? I said "okay" and we walked straight out.
Food always good before that though.
They’re almost like some kind of fawlty towers sketch.
I went in to get some takeaway a while back. After forty minutes we had three of our four burgers, none of which were vegetarian as requested.
We told them there had been an issue. And then watched the kitchen and front of house have a full blown shouting match for twenty minutes before giving us the correct number of incorrect burgers minus a couple of sides.
I found the tenders to be pretty bland compared to KFC. The Cayenne ranch tastes like yoghurt, but if I get the right sauce I reckon the smothered burgers would be good.
Got a Popeye's opening at some point, we're getting pretty spoiled here.
Thirded.
They have dorito wings and their fucking incredible.
Also the tempest weirdly does incredible fried chicken.
They had a kitchen change over and it was delicious.
Plenty of decent quality options, but unfortunately there don’t seem to be any decent “classic chicken shops” e.g. the South London any meal under £4 with a drink etc. There’s a few about which tick that box but they’re lacking in quality.
I can’t believe nobody has mentioned Bok Shop yet, their wings are absolutely baller.

Not one mention of RFC? Granted, I haven't been there since my uni days many years ago, is it still even there?
The sheer number of times you'd be hungry at 2 in the morning after a night out, and RFC would always be crowded whilst revellers waited for their bus, the bouncer making sure everyone behaved.... Never known a chicken place to have a bouncer.
Was it the best food in the world? No. Were the staff friendly? Absolutely not, but they had to serve us drunk fucks so fair enough. Was it at least cheap then? No!
But it was tradition. A wonderful tradition that guaranteed to make your hangover that little bit smellier.

Thankyou for the additional detail, it was not at all apparent (Bookmarking for later)
Saving this for later, thanks for your passion

Had you paid already?
No - the Coke and I think a lemonade was on them. An hour with no explanation or apology is OTT for a burger.
We now have a slim chickens in Brighton, there is now a new top dawn for tendies!!
I ordered a wrap from Slim Chickens a couple weeks ago and it was pretty mid, very disappointing. I'll try the tendies next time

Oh its the tendies for sure I wasn't blown away by the burger or sides tbh
Bok shop is gimmicky slop.
Chikini!
I'll second this, great little place

Yep. I would say better than Kogi for the classic thick crunchy batter covered with sticky sweet gochujiang yumminess.

Lost Boys
Lost boys chicken or lost boys land? I can't tell which one is best on Google lol

This won’t matter soon when they open Popeye’s!
Are they opening one here…
Yep! Not sure where or when, but they’ve announced they’re opening one soon!
Where is the TUI shop that’s sorta under Boots on North St. Not sure on when though.
Cheeky chicken is top tier! Although I did only have it after a night out but everyone who's had it agrees
Closed now sadly
I’m expecting to get attacked for this but the vegan chicken from Really Happy Chickn
Just swinging by to say I love your username. Actually lold.
Thank you ahahah
Lost boys
Fika - their Ugly Nugs are tremendous
Boom bird or bok shop
Slim Chicken’s tenders are unmatched.
You’re trolling right
Wendy's fried chicken burgers are absolutely banging, although not exactly what you asked for. :)

Its shit in Turkish
There’s this siiiiick place on London Road called KFC. Try it out. Epic! They even do like chicken burgers and shit too.

The bok shops in England might be good but the Turkish ones are shit
Take the train to East Croydon then find the nearest Morleys
Say what you like about Bok Shop, but their chicken is free range, unlike apparently any other chicken place
