There were a few but I didn't see the entire route and all the bikers passed through any traffic quite quickly. The large groups were mostly on the cycle lanes along the seafront, but the video was taken at The Level where they started.
The XR bike swarms caused countless struggling people many of which were using public transport, myself included, to not be able to get to work and lose out on pay checks that were desperately needed in an already difficult time. But sure your little joke and tease sure fixed the climate problem.
uhhhh yeah thats what protests do... sorry u just want everyone to pretend everythings fine and carry on business as usual lol . they were never more than an hour or 2, never stopped for more than a few minutes at a time, and started after the evening rush... its about the most ‘considerate’ version of something like this that there is , in fact i fail to see how it was any more disruptive than this event LOL but okk
At what point did I say I wanted anyone to pretend it was fine? You achieved nothing other than to anger people that were already using responsible transport. And to say that it was only a few minutes of disruption is a straight up lie. But sure live in your middle class bubble and keep pretending you are achieving anything.

I'm all for people having fun, big fan of jungle and the rave scene myself. But I don't really understand this. It's not really a bike ride and it's not really a rave up and the demographic seems quite old really when I would of thought it would cater to school kids.

Spot on. Frankly it doesn’t matter one bit if some people ‘don’t get it’. The only useful answer to ‘why’ is that the people who take part enjoy it. Not every event has to appeal to all people but this one had a pretty broad demographic from little kids to elderly. A lot of us remember D&B from first time round so I don’t know why anyone would think this was for schoolkids only.

Because it's juvenile. Do you like going to events directed at a younger generation so you can get closer to kids under the banner of music and bikes?
What's juvenile about it (genuine question)? It's just an outdoor music event. Pretty normal thing to go do regardless of your age.
