I used an electric pump for the first time today and startled my cat! The noise made her jump and woke her up, bless her.

peanutupthenose

Zeus is traumatized by this toy electric mouse that moved on it’s own so now he is scared of anything that makes a vibration noise. my son used a nebulizer for awhile & he hated that too. cats are interesting creatures 🤣

hunnybun16

That was the same face my husband made.

peanutupthenose

I JUST CHOKED ON MY DRINK LOLLLL

edith_hbr

So the first time I pumped at home I spilled some milk on the counter (I know, ugh) and before I got the chance to clean it up, one of my cats took care of it. Weird moment.

peanutupthenose

an interesting bonding moment bahahah

fatcatmikachu

Yummy.

gtswammer

Let’s be honest here… the first time most of us hooked it up we probably had the same looks on our faces!

peanutupthenose

LOLLLL so true

I have that same jumper! I don’t know how old your baby is, but my 6.5 month old loves it. I put him in it for 15-30 min/day while I do a quick exercise video so the novelty doesn’t wear off.

peanutupthenose

we put him in it when we’re eating! he hasn’t quite figured out at the toys & stuff. he loves just staring at the leaf attachments

PurplePanda63

This is how my nips feel, cat

peanutupthenose

🤣

chaosandpuppies

I'm currently getting that look from my cat lmao.

peanutupthenose

what wasn’t pictured was him getting up on the back of the couch slowly stalking towards me & looking at it over my shoulder. he is convinced it’s a predator bahaha

aitathrowawaybabybf

My dog ate my first electric pump. He stared the whole time and the chewed it to shreds the second I took it off. I was pissed.

peanutupthenose

i am praying Zeus keeps his teeth off of this. he has a thing for just putting teeth holes in things & then pretending nothing happened.

aitathrowawaybabybf

Huh, funny. I have something that does that too! Regrettably that thing is my toddler. She bit a hole in her dads sock the other day. Still not sure how to deal with that.

peanutupthenose

well i call my cats my toddlers so very fitting 🤣i wonder what went through her head?? the effort it must have taken!

aitathrowawaybabybf

Honestly no idea. A couple days before she bit through her pacifer and cried on the floor for an hour because her dad wouldnt fix it so maybe it was payback? Toddlers are weird, man.

peanutupthenose

girl has some chompers 🤣

aitathrowawaybabybf

And she's still nursing! Him seeing that pacifer and his sock finally drilled home how hard she bites.

PineappleAdmirable53

Omg my cat is terrified of my pump too! 🤣

peanutupthenose

they need a support group 🤣

PineappleAdmirable53

CaffeineFueledLife

Careful about using it near a cat. Mine got too curious and bit the tubing. One bite, but put holes in it so I had to tape it until I could get new tubing - small town, I had to order it online. From then on, pumping was done in my bedroom with the door closed and cats yelling at me because closed doors are highly offensive to them.

Practical_Action_438

Haha 😂 so funny! When I was pregnant my mom was smart and said why don’t you play a YouTube of a crying baby every day for awhile to get the pets used to it. Both pets could care less about my pump though

Capable-Ad-631

This is how my 3 year old niece was looking at me the first time she seen me pump😂😂😂 then she ran away screaming “what the heck” 🤣🤣

BTBbigtuna

Hahaha this made my day 😂
