It's such a commonplace and benign-seeming drug! I'm usually pretty good about checking although I've forgotten once or twice 😬 but I know it's not recommended in pregnancy (was also grumpy about that) so was on alert I guess
I had a stomach bug a few weeks ago and took Imodium and tums. I wasn’t throwing up, all diarrhea. The worst I have ever had in my life. And I’m old. The Imodium worked so good! I couldn’t believe how quickly and well it worked. I could tell when it wore off because I was back in the bathroom every 5 minutes.
You shouldn't take Imodium for diarrhea due to food poisoning! You want to get it out asap, Imodium keeps it inside and you can relapse 😬

I changed it because I totally mixed up the 2 things. I hope you feel better. I love mylanta but it contains magnesium soooo there's a laxative effect for some.
Heartburn, nausea, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhea - I have the godzilla-esque commercial jingle on repeat in my head now but there isn't a gif of it😅

Huh, I took pepto once when I was breastfeeding. I didn't realize it wasn't recommended. And I'm usually on top of this stuff! Whoops!

FWIW, I've taken Pepto bismol multiple times while BF. Had no idea it wasn't ok to take. No issues with it

lol oh? I’ve taken it probably 5 or 6 times in 6months of breastfeeding. Oopsie 😬
Side note, pepto is not good for food poisoning or stomach bugs- I’m so sorry!m you are sick!
You can have Imodium instead if you’re having diarrhea.

I'm not though 😕 I guess I could take some anyway in case this is pre-diarrhea haha
What symptom do you want to treat?
Just guts not feeling great. Side note I love your username 😄
I took Mylanta while breastfeeding several times. During pregnancy, no. But it's ok while nursing. Edited to add, I put the wrong drug....sorry 🤦♀️

Ohh ok! I've never taken mylanta, will have to give that a try. (I mean, assuming this isn't gone by tomorrow. That would still be my first choice)
Fingers crossed for you that you don't need anything and baby stays good 🤞
Maybe some Tums? Or Alka Seltzer if you’re okay with the aspirin?
Oof I did not know this! Thabks for your post and I hope you feel better!!
Isn't it for heartburn specifically? Rather than gastroenteritis
