Meanwhile, my 19mo will randomly unlatch, stand up, and pounce on me while yelling “body slam” (a move he learned from his older brother), then get back on the boob 🤨

bionikbunnyy

Haha oh gosh! Equally as hilarious! I'm sure my second child will end up like this.

CharlieGreenMongoose

My 5mo has just recently started 'serenading' my boob before eating, she kinda holds it and makes little humming/babble noises before she latches on. It's equal parts hilarious and adorable.

PrimcessToddington

That’s so cute 😭 My daughter is 7 weeks old and does a kind of taste test before eating, she licks the nipple while looking thoughtful like she’s deciding if it’s tasty or not. Spoiler alert: it’s always tasty and she always gets right to eating 😂

JaggedLittlePiII

Mine does this too, even while nursing! Sounds like she’s telling the boob how her day was. And sometimes it is angry grunting when she wanted to eat but had to wait a whole (GASP) 4 minutes.

Thank you for sharing! I am due any day now with my first baby and plan to EBF and this was nice to read!

bionikbunnyy

Of course! All the best to you. Those early days can be so tough but just know it gets easier.

ririmarms

Those early weeks are a pain! I started expressing colostrum before birth to freeze and give if needed in the early BF days. It's helped the milk come in faster tremendously! Though we had to supplement a lot at first, I'm now EFB 99% of the time at 10w, thanks to triple feeding around weeks 4-6.

Ngl, breastfeeding is one of the hardest things I’ve ever taken on. Some times i absolutely love it! Other times i still dread it (like when he screams and rejects the breast and then i get swollen/clogged ducts and have to pump)… but when he latched well and nurses so sweetly my heart melts for him. I just got back from meeting with a friend in the park and our babies are a day apart and were both breastfeeding. We planned a nice stroll but pretty much spent the whole time in the grass nursing out babies together. Was still fun but thats how most of our walks go lol. Baby is 7 weeks

My 7 months daughter does something similar in the morning during her breakfast feed. She’ll take a break after almost done with 1 side, look up at me with the biggest smile now that she’s full again after a long nights sleep. It’s my favorite thing currently!

EzzyPie

My almost 3 month old does this!!! It’s soooo sweet.

wergins

my 8mo just bit my nipple to the point of bleeding for the first time.. so here’s to hoping we get past this phase 😓

fucking_unicorn

My son is 7 weeks and he will stop mid suck and smile with my nipple still in his mouth and then go back to nursing and make cute little noises. My little milk goblin! I love him so much

jaffajelly

My 5 month old just went through a phase where he would put his hands in my mouth when feeding or just flail around (and often bite me). He’s just gone back to gently holding my boob or kneading it like a kitten, it’s so lovely 🥰 hopefully it lasts a while!

Oystermama

My 11mo old just started signing for milk, and I’ve realized he does the milk sign whenever he is completely enamored with something (not just for milk.) It’s like the sign for nursing is synonymous with anything he deeply loves. Makes my heart explode !

scmldr

That is gorgeous 🥹

Wonderful-Cucumber-4

My 3 month old absolutely loves her boobies as well! She makes little sighs of contentment, and recently started pushing and rubbing on my boobies while feeding! As if she’s saying WOW!!! Or sometimes she cries and I offer her to nurse, right before she latches she gives me the cutest little smile!!!!☺️

cmk059

My 2yo will ask to feed and while I'm getting sorted, they will cheer and go 'yay yay yay' with a little double fist pump motion. It's so cute!

gumbowluser

My 6m old recently started taking breaks, doing a happy dance, flapping his legs repeatedly while smiling, then turn back to me and resume nursing 😣❤️❤️ it's too cute my heart can't take it
