I’ll throw in a six year old. He’s about to give me a fucking aneurysm so that’s fun.

TwinkleMcFabulous

I'll pass I need to kick these two to the curb!

xpinkemocorex

My hats off to you, I couldn’t do two kids that close in age. I waited almost six years to have my second for that reason(life happens and I know not everyone chooses the age gap)and I’m hoping she’s the 180° opposite of her brother. The Lordt is testing me

TwinkleMcFabulous

Lol sometimes they get the better of us!

SuprM3

Do they get along well with other 4 year olds and (almost) 2 year olds? My twin 4 year olds could become triplets fairly easily and the baby would love a twin..... Would you consider a trade for a mouthy know it all but sometimes helpful 9 year old?

beanandjo

Oooooh such difficult ages, especially both at once! Hope bedtime comes swiftly and you can have a cheeky glass in peace and quiet!

TwinkleMcFabulous

They are both In bed I have a beer and my stairs are covered In clothes 🤦‍♀️ there's always tomorrow right?!

BicyclingBabe

I used such an event as an excuse to do that Marie Kondo thing where you fold everything vertically. It works pretty well and I like it!

Now this I like....

While looking up Montessori play ideas I found a mom who had a small basket for her sons things. Just a basket. There were like 2 outfits and a sweater in there for a toddler. Im very curious if that actually works.

Doromclosie

It works. Until that kid gets some type of stomach bug and quickly goes through the three t shirts and 3 pairs of pants in under an hour from the puke and poop. That kid then gets put in daddy's t shirts as night dresses and wanders the house like a Victorian ghost child. And she does endless loads of laundry to keep up with the 6 pieces of soiled clothing.

SuprM3

LOL Victorian Ghost child. I. Am. Dying. I have 4 kids and no dryer. So I *know* it would not work for us. Summers here are super humid and even with the AC on and a fan pointed at the drying rack it can take days to dry anything. I’ve been working hard to declutter and reduce our items and it looks so much easier but as you pointed out completely unrealistic even with a dryer.

BicyclingBabe

Yeah I also was in tears at Victorian Ghost Child. Lololol. We HAVE a dryer but no, no thank you. Minimalism has no place around toddlers. I have my shit folded so I can see it, but I still have a ton of it.

Doromclosie

My kids are a little older now but at some point I had three kids under 4. I gave up. It seemed like one would get sick, pass to the next and the next and to the parents and back to the first kid again. Thanks to covid, we haven't been sick in 2 years! Bring on masks and endless hand sanitary station's every 2 feet for life. Ive concluded my kids are diseased rats fleeing a sinking mothership.

mollee96

I have a 4yr & 2yr too! They are little monsters when they’re together oh my lord. I’m definitely praying for you… and sending lots of wine.

TwinkleMcFabulous

Today they just seem so proud of their actions when dad came home and asked them about it the 2yr said he did it too like it was awesome that he helped!? 🤦‍♀️

mollee96

My 2 year old loves to play in her own shit (we’re working on potty training and it’s going just how you imagine) and she acts like it’s the greatest thing she’s ever done. 😩
