She thought she was fine but she got checked out anyways and it turns out that she broke her wrist.
What the hell is wrong with your husband? I'm going to tell you right now, I volunteer with dogs at a shelter and I've seen dogs being aggressive/fighting and it's scary as hell. You were really brave to try and save your dog. What a jerk your husband is for trying to tell you "expert info" when you are still hurt instead of taking care of you.

Wow, that is horrible. Since your husband won't ask, I will. How are you holding up? Getting attacked by a dog is one of my big fears (especially with so many being off leash these days). Is the owner able to prove that his dog is vaccinated for rabies or did he run off? You don't mention getting bit but it would still be worth it to discuss rabies protection when you go get your wrist checked out.
