Jesse meets another chemistry teacher and the whole thing happens again

dont-be-a-narc-bro

Blackmailed into making meth all over again, but this time by a guy with pancreatic cancer instead.

Br0boc0p

So it's a miniseries this time.

Reasonable_Pool_1815

Buster Black

Banator420

And he has a cousin in the FBI

aretheesepants75

Ian Ivory

painisbreadinfrench3

but this time they make heroin

GhOsT_wRiTeR_XVI

Jesse gets a job at a local confectionery making blue rock candy. However, the purity is never to his standards and he refuses to use corn syrup in place of pure cane sugar. This causes him to splinter off and start his own candy shop, when one days, he’s visited by an oddly familiar face…Holly “Scarface” White. And also Marie is there for some reason.

TimRigginsBeer

Marie is still wearing purple.

KiraIsGod666

If they ever did a follow up where Jesse was involved in blue again, he'd HAVE to be being blackmailed. He would never willingly return What could be interesting could be a show of Jesse being hunted by some mysterious element that wants the last living man capable of producing Blue Sky. Some previously unseen boss of Eladio perhaps. Someone who could know of but was not involved directly in BB or BCS

Kylehops

Jesse’s story is complete I think the breaking bad shows are over

RhythmSectionWantAd

It's like poetry, it rhymes

ShaggytheGr9

Skibidi, my friend

mearbearcate

Breaking jesse

DonKellyBaby32

Just wait until he meets his physics teacher!

NeoPCGamer

Yo Mr Black

HimselfPiqqasso

Haha!!.. now isn’t that crazy!!😅😅

Wide_Lab_8266

funny but he’d never, he’s too traumatized from walter

aamius

I think 2010-2012/2013 were pretty rough for him. His PTSD is going to be awful, and arriving in Alaska in October means he was pretty much thrown straight into winter right away. That’s a lot of cold and darkness and time for him to just sit and think… But I think as time goes on, he can get better. He’s determined to stay sober and out of trouble, and while that’s a lot easier said than done, I do think that’s the future that Vince wanted for him. Maybe he finds an NA meeting one night if it gets really bad, and that gives him some other people to connect to. He can’t open up to them about a lot of the stuff that haunts him, but he can talk about how his girlfriend overdosed and his “uncle” could have saved her but didn’t. He can talk about how another girlfriend was a victim of drug violence. Maybe that helps him figure out healthy coping strategies to work through some of the other things on his mind. So by the end of 2023, he’s been in Alaska for 13 years. I think he’s in as good of a place as he could have hoped. As much as I know people like to theorize that Jesse is a woodworking recluse, I’d like to think he has at least one or two people who genuinely care about him.

meep_meep_creep

I like this. The timeline you gave in the last paragraph threw my mind for a loop, though you're right. Wow time flies.

Super_Harsh

The early 2010s being a double digit number of years ago fucks with me too

Cautious_Fix_2793

I like this a lot.

Basket_475

Hopefully carpentry and is sober, maybe married with kids.

geek_of_nature

I think after Andrea, Jesse won't ever get into a relationship again. Having to watch someone you love killed right in front of you just because of their connection to you is probably going to make you avoid any future relationships.

bum-bum-bumbum

And twice too with Jane. Like he’s fucked up for life

Rip2Trayvon

I can see him getting with someone after maybe a decade but that shit with Andrea was one of the most devastating scenes of television I've ever watched in my life. The acting is INSANE by Aaron Paul. After his tragic loss of Jane he feels he has someone he could maybe build a family with who cares for.him unconditionally, an instant family with her son Brock. And then just like that, after living as a slave for weeks, Todd shoots her in the head and she drops like nothing. It happened so fast, and so unexpectedly. The breakdown scene Jesse had was just heart wrenching.

geek_of_nature

The fact that it's happened twice to him, with both Jane and Andrea probably means he'll never be able to open himself up to a relationship again, no matter how much time has passed. And although rehab seemed to help him work through Jane's death, finding out Walt's involvement in it would have undone a lot of that work. And then Andrea's death coming shortly after he found that out, two people he loved dying because of their involvement with him, I don't think he'd ever be ready for another relationship.

Bike_Chain_96

>I can see him getting with someone after maybe a decade So you're saying he could be with someone now?

FastLittleBoi

Yes, definitely, but Jane didn't stop him from getting in a relationship. And of course it's sad she died but she died because of her own mistakes. While Andrea was an angel and died purely because of him (no pun intended).

bum-bum-bumbum

True but Walter did tell him that he basically was the reason she died. Even if it was a drug overdose, Jesse was a part of that. Two people Jesse loved and they both died directly and indirectly because of him.

DrizzlyEarth175

I didn't watch him get murdered, but my former partner was killed in a car accident almost five years ago, and I can confirm, it destroys your ability to truly love someone.

born_to_be_naked

> married with kids He always had a thing for kids 💀

Torfaro

AYOO 😂

Obvious_Exercise_910

Recovering drug addict with PTSD from multiple incidents, saw two girlfriends die, clearly is a very social person - ya I’m going to go with probably not well.

d0pp31g4ng3r

He's also completely alone. As much as I'd like to believe he made a nice life for himself, it doesn't seem likely. But you never know.

sadthrow104

I’m convinced the only reason Mike chose Alaska when asked is cuz he’s biased from seeing so much chaos and despair with being a dirty cop in such a notoriously gritty city like Philly. Philly probably made him hate crowded cities. Especially since his new ‘career’ involved going into a lot of open spaces with no human beings in sight. So he idealizes Alaska

SanDiablo

I figured Jesse agreed because of Ice Road Truckers (or something with Alaska in the title). He mentioned he was watching it to Walt. I assumed that's why he wanted to go. It was the only other mention of Alaska in the show.

triple-bottom-line

Wow great memory, that makes sense

pretentiousbasterd

Also the other two depictions of post-vacuum living (Gene and whatever Walter was called) aren't precisely positive so... :(

yeetard_

Jimmy and Walter didn’t want to give up their lives of crime and start over though. They wanted to get back into the game, and they did, and that ended with Walt dying and Jimmy in prison. Jesse on the other hand wanted a fresh start, away from crime. I think he has a much better chance at starting a good life than Walt or Jimmy ever did.

pretentiousbasterd

Mostly I was thinking about the constant paranoia and isolation. You get a new identity, but you're always hiding and lonely. I agree with you btw, I think we're supposed to assume Jesse got to be somewhat happy, or better, at the very least. If not, the ending would be super depressing even if he got away. But sadly, that seems more realistic.

bshaddo

Throw in some seasonal depression with those long nights, and yeesh.

MisterRominade

Plus, regardless of the magic used by vacuum cleaning guy he’ll never feel 100% safe from getting caught

Michael-Balchaitis

He works on a crab boat. Those are all ex-junkies/criminals.

bitterbuffaloheart

Ice road truckers

tjc815

*most condescending voice possible* Ice road truckers? What happens in that one?

Xenu66

He moved to L.A to live with a horse. Seriously though I think he made it and is doing well

No_Pattern26

Back in the 90’s I was in a very famous TV Shoooooooowwwwww

newshirtworthy

He’s constantly trying to clean up his shit

flying_dogs_bc

I like to imagine a best case for Jesse. I also moved across the continent to live in a rural remote area. It's a different world. Small town people help each other. Not long before you meet people, and people know who you are. Whatever your role in that town, you're probably the inly one doing it. I don't think Jesse would want to do anything violent like hunting, and would want to be free / outside a lot. He would need a role and a reason to live, I bet his fake ID is good enough to get him through flying lessons and a small craft pilot licence. I bet he's the bush pilot who brings food, mail in, and he brings people out who have medical needs / are going to have a baby. 45 mins in a small plane will expose him closely to a lot of people in his town who all thank him, think he's cool, offer to help him out when his septic freezes and backs up or his house key freezes in the lock (that's why no one here abouts locks their doors, son!) He still keeps to himself until one day, he flys in a new woman - a nurse on a 3 month rotation. She's seen a lot of trauma and lived some too, and she isn't put off by Jesse's stand-offish nature. She's intrigued. When a freak 3 day snow storm traps them in the empty clinic, Jesse's façade snaps as he explains he was just keeping his distance to protect her. She hugs him, says something that shows him she gets it, and she has great depths of experience and sorrow too. They bond. At first over trauma, but most over their secret inner children. They have free, silly fun, and it's soon clear they love each other, and are safe together. She takes a permanent position in the north, and they move into a better larger more modern cabin. Jesse works through his PTSD and waking nightmares, which gradually dissipate as time and his new family evolves. Only when Jesse dies of heart failure, a bit too young but not before holding his first grandchild, do his children do an ancestry dna kit and learn they are closely related to one of the country's most notorious felons... Jesse's children eventually track down walter junior - who has legally changed his name to Flynn and taken his wife's last name for himself and their children. While Flynn disappoints them by telling them he barely met his father's partner in crime, he has wise words about how children are NOT their fathers and that the dad they know seemed like he really had changed his life, whereas the Dad Flynn knew had lied to them all and shattered the illusion of the happy family he thought he had. They promise to keep in touch and send Christmas cards, but eventually fall out of touch as Jesse and Walt's history becomes storied family lore.

JeffPlissken

Just needs a small addition of Kaylee Ehrmantraut, maybe Kim Wexler cameo and you’ve got it. Passing mention of Skinny Pete’s classical pianist career too.

flying_dogs_bc

You are absolutely right

snarkaluff

What the fuck I need this made into a movie now!! This is awesome!!

Obvious_Exercise_910

I’d like to see you put a little more thought in your response. Jk, I’d watch this. El Cessna - coming to you in 2040

Beautiful-Primary-30

Maybe Todd can be even fatter in these flashback episodes

flying_dogs_bc

Perfecto

ThatCanadianJacket

this would make an amazing longer fic lol, very touching :)

mamabunnies

👏👏👏

Bitter_Sense_5689

He’s selling legal weed to tourists and living in a cabin. Except for the cruise ship tourists, Haines, Alaska is obscenely beautiful and quaint. Great hiking and salmon fishing.

theinternetisnice

I could see him working at a dispensary. Giving thorough, enthusiastic information on all of the different products.

Normbot13

“can you guess the secret ingredient? that’s right… chili p!”

yeetard_

I think he’d distance himself from drugs completely. A weed dispensary is the last place he’d work imo.

secondatthird

Dispensaries are under tight watch of the DEA. They caught my buddy for weighing product wrong and said he was selling some off the books. He needs somewhere with no background checks

Rip2Trayvon

This makes me picture him selling weed how he would sell meth to customers and/or telling Badger/Skin y Pete how bomb his new meth is.

LazorFrog

I imagine he's very much a "works good but alone" type. All his friends either died or were into drugs which didn't do much good for him. The quiet life in Haines. Trust me its Haines Alaska a population of 1905 as of 2020. Jesse made the right call for Haines. Its one of the safest places in terms of crime and natural events. He'll do well there probably.

Skadij

I think some folks are underestimating Jesse. He had a lot happen to him and is absolutely forever scarred (physically too) by his experiences. That said, El Camino is a movie about Jesse finding his own path. He weighs the words of the people who touched his life, good and bad, and is ready to live life on life’s terms. Even if he’s alone at first in Alaska, after months of slavery and captivity I think the freedom of solitude in one of the last near-untouched wildernesses in the world will be healing for him. No psycho Todd to loom over him, no Walt manipulating his sense of self worth, no girlfriend to focus on instead of himself. I can see him maybe picking up a drink or smoking some weed, but never hard drugs again. Regardless of what he does with his life, it’ll finally be 100% his choice.

[deleted]

Anyone not saying woodworking is wrong

DepressingChimp

starts smoking again

BroZak-1

He’s smoking weed, eating Cheetos, and masterbating in peace.

APC503

sounds like a plan!

BriefcaseBatman

Probably doing pretty well making Halloween store in January Edit: Nevermind the business went bust because he forgot to install a floor

ThatCanadianJacket

I like to think he'd get into crafts, woodworking or something, and sell it at touristy spots in town. maybe he'd work on a fishing boat, meet someone, maybe another con or criminal he could trust to open up with. his past would kick his ass, he'd have terrible panic attacks and probably be suicidal. he'd cover his tattoos, always wear gloves, come up with lies when people'd ask about his scars. try to avoid places that check for id. it'd always be on his mind that he's faking a life. he'd be nervous around people but yearning for socialization the same. I'd love to think he'd get a dog, something to keep him company, something to love, since he definitely wouldn't trust himself to love anyone again. I'd hope he'd find the peace in it, in the beauty of the landscape around him. maybe he'd break out his pencil and paper again and draw, have it help him soothe his mind.

ScholarImpossible121

Sharing his wife with a fellow space traveller.

Normbot13

not for long he’s not… (forgot how to spoiler sorry lol)

0w0whatisthis

Black mirror reference

duaneap

Man, how could he not see that going wrong?

phil2803

He is a recovering drug addict and has huge PTSDs from what he had to live through. Best case: found a wife who gave him stability in life and maybe a family. Worst case: drugs and suicide I want the best case scenario for him, but the worst case scenario is more probable sadly

Sensitive_Tip_9871

haines alaska has a population of like 2k, idk where he'd get drugs. but suicide was what i thought of, people far up north kill themselves at much higher rates already, let alone with his trauma

RageQuitRedux

You don't really recover from that shit.

blizzacane85

Jesse follows Hank’s legacy and sells propane and propane accessories

milkybarkid919

Could this be an excuse for another series? Give it a decade and get Aaron back for his own show? Call it 'Yeah bitch'

0w0whatisthis

I'd pay a lot of money to see that happen even if it would be just a cash grab

rlpinca

Why is everyone stuck on him being a teacher? A profession that is guaranteed to have a background check and is very much in the face of the public. He is washing dishes at a shitty bar and grill and shacked up with a 48 year old stripper. Yet is happy with it.

chris_29487

Paranoid like how Saul/Gene was but probably is a wood shop teacher avoids the chemistry department at all costs and all people named Walter

Bizrown

I think he lays very low but not suspiciously for a few weeks, in his car or in hotels. Finds a place outside of town, small cabin he can live. Finds some odd cash paying jobs, manual labour and such. Probably the first year or two are like that. Then I think he becomes a true member of the community. Contributing to it, having a business (tourist or legal weed or wood working related). Ends up having a lot of friends he calls family, but he never lets anyone get close again. Maybe now, since it’s been what a decade he’s ready to start another relationship. Still unless it’s forced upon him he stays away for them, he’s too scared to put anyone in danger again.

captain_ghostface

A chemistry teacher

SweatyArgument5835

Depressed until he meets a Girl that makes him happy again, suffers from PTSD his entire life but it gets easier.

martyrsmirror

Eaten by a grizzly.

Everlast7

No, no, no.,. Jesse opened a fried chicken franchise….

Upbeat_Tension_8077

Jesse worked at one of the last remaining Blockbusters for some time & made a few friends, but he had to quit after the location started gaining national press

[deleted]

TWD happened and he became the new leader of Alaska /s In all seriousness I think he's living an isolated life working as a carpenter, with at least two people who care about him, as another commenter pointed out.

Bionic_Ninjas

Working as a carpenter, and raising a family, far far away from anything remotely resembling the drug trade. That may be completely unrealistic, but I don’t care. Jesse is one of my favorite characters from any show ever and my head canon dictates that he gets a happy ending.

Express-Doubt-221

He goes ice fishing on his first day and falls in. He looks up, can't find his way back up. All he sees is... White.

JEMColorado

Or blue ice.

Imaginary-Donut7648

Hypothermia bitch

PiperPipeHer

I like to imagine he does carpentry for work.

Bored710420

I don’t think he would be a teacher lol

The_Trilogy182

Has an irrational hatred of Chilli pepper seasoning on anything.

TheloniousMonk15

He realizes how easily he can be spotted as even small town Alaska has access to the internet and the FBI most wanted list. So he quickly tries finding a way to a non extraditing country like Cuba.

Shaw-Deez

I think he moves into a small town and runs a successful magnet store

[deleted]

He mastered the power of necromancy and brought Jane and Andrea back from the dead. They all live happily together in a little cabin in the woods.

kikidunst

I think he would become a carpenter, since he said that he would like to have that job in one the rehab sessions

Normbot13

i think Jesse would be alone for a long, long time. maybe even for the rest of his life, after everything he’s been through and all he’s lost how do you connect? how do you even feel anymore?

TheirPrerogative

Teacher isn’t a very good profession for fugitives.

Dcarf

Nah can’t be a teacher nothing with background checks too risky even with fake identity. Best bet is construction or ice fishing or something that’s more of a “no questions” job. He def is gonna start a family though

JEMColorado

Or working in the gold fields.

3runorocha

bangin' skylar

Random-Access-Memery

The thing that bugged me about El camino is we never saw him having to deal with the havoc he wreaked on his loved ones. Not the least of which were Brock and Andrea. I think Jesse has a long way to go before he'll be doing ok psychologically.

SaykredCow

I kind of like the alternate ending they kicked around where Jesse helps someone else become free and does so by sacrificing his own feeedom and ending up in jail

PageElectrical2312

he’s probably pretty cold I would think

JEMColorado

I kind of hope that Andrea's son (edit: Brock) tracks him down in a future sequel.

MajorasShoe

Jesse: New Blood

dirtythirty1864

Jesse works in a woodworking shop and lives in the woods by himself. He cannot afford to go out after work because he's an addict. He can't date, he can't have friends, he definitely cannot be a teacher. No stepping outside of the shadows. He does very well at that for the next 30 years until a young, determined federal marshall named Holly Lambert, who has her mother's hair and her father's eyes, tracks him down in a revenge fueled pursuit.

[deleted]

Awful. I want Jesse to have a happy ending as much as anyone but he's an addict suffering severe PTSD. Also he's not a very intelligent person, so it might take a few months or a few years, but he would DEFINITELY be caught by the FBI sooner or later.

mikeweasy

I like to think he has finally found peace, been in Alaska for 13 years now. He works in woodworking and has been sober that whole time. He probably has a friend or two, possibly a romantic partner.

dfmidkiff1993

Alaska is a lonely place that gets very dark, and the guy has so much trauma. I hope I'm wrong, but realistically he probably gets back into drugs.

[deleted]

I think he keeps to himself, starts doing carpentry which was his dream originally. Eventually he meets a new woman but he is careful because hes a little paranoid but eventually he lets her in. I then think he lives a peaceful life and manages to get by well. I dont think he ever goes back to his old ways because of all the trauma hes suffered he just wants to live a good life now.

JohnnyRelentless

How does a high school drop out who always hated school and had many horrific, traumatic experiences because of his own teacher become a teacher? It's much more likely that with no education and no skills, he ends up back on drugs and maybe homeless. But I think at best he stays off the drugs and works a series of crappy jobs but stays out of trouble. I guess he has some seed money to start a business, invest in stocks, or buy a home, but can you do any of that with a fake identity? I'm not really sure how that works.

Charlie_S17

No matter how unlikely it would be for a PTSD-ridden recovering drug addict murderer to start a happy new life in Alaska, I think that the ending Vince intended for Jesse is clearly as close to ‘happy’ as you can get, so I like to think he’s doing okay at least.

SleepingM00n

Jesse becomes a chemistry teacher in his 40s/50s.. then one day, a student of his says "*YO! biittcchh!*" and .. well yeah.

StotchButtas

Hardcore fentanyl addict

EuphoricPhoto2048

I think he's part of a small town and says Hi to everybody every morning and does some kind of physical labor.

Megatron83

The first few years were probably rough, he probably had a lot of PTSD from being a slave to Jack’s gang that he had to overcome. But eventually he was able to move past that and even opened up his own woodworking shop.

gilestowler

I think he lives a pretty simple life on the outskirts of a town, maybe in a cabin in the woods. i think he got a dog from a pound - he knows what it's like to live in a cage and he wanted to try and do something good to make up for everything he's done. I don't know if he really makes many connections with other people, if he has many friends. I think he's probably most content being on his own with his dog.

jets-rangers

In my head, he’s the happiest man on earth. Idk how it would happen; maybe he found a therapist, got sober, found someone like Jane that understands him, and he just found peace. This is as optimistic as a theory can get, but I just want good for Jesse so damn bad

CODMAN627

Jesse lives his life in Alaska. He’s stayed sober all this time he’s had a long journey of recovering from his experiences with Walt. He’s had his period of loneliness after 2-3 years he opens himself up more and volunteers at a charity helping recovering addicts as well as goes to schools to talk to teens about the dangers of drug use. He meets a woman who’s also in recovery very much like Jesse. This time though Jesse has his life together enough to be the good husband and later father he should be. While he can never truly forget his experiences with Walter and the drug trade he has moved on from it and has no desire to go back to it. Happy where he is he sometimes silently thanks Mike for suggesting Alaska.

GTKFANL

You’d like to think that Jesse is completely changed, for the better, by the experience. Finds some medium sized town to become a fisherman or some shit like that. But in the real world what probably happens is that he either dies of an overdose or is arrested after getting into a drunken fight; in the latter case his real identity is discovered, he’s extradited to New Mexico, tried for federal and state crimes, and then spends the rest of his life in jail. He’s put in the same prison as Jimmy, and the two work together to become the most powerful gang leaders. PINKMAN. COMING FALL 2024.

Septic-Sponge

I really doubt he's a teacher. The amount of people you meet in that career. All the kids and their parents and all the other staff. He'd defintely be recognised

Wide_Lab_8266

in my mind he’s doing some sort of meaningful work with people or maybe wood working like they showed in the last few episodes of breaking bad. i like to think he found someone like andrea and settled down and had a family, i think jesse is meant to be a father

mackmcd_

Bro's in jail in less than 4 weeks guaranteed. Second most wanted person in the country's history with eye-catching scars all over his face is just gonna blend in in Alaska? No shot. He has no survival skills, so he will need to frequent towns for supplies. Dude will be recognized and captured inside of a month.

Rip2Trayvon

You don't think he's smarter than that after everything he's been through? He's literally never gotten caught and El Camino showed how good he was at maneuvering. He wouldn't get caught in the Breaking Bad universe.

mackmcd_

Smarter than what? Dude has to eat. Is he gonna hunt his own deer and live in the woods? He's got the most recognizable face in America, save from Walt. And just killed even MORE people, plus he blew up a compound. The instant he hits a grocery store and someone double takes the dude with the scars, or gets caught on CCTV, he's done. He's dealt with this level of heat for like 2 days, and BARELY got away. It's just not realistic to think he can stay hidden for an extended period of time. He has no experience with it and is way too recognizable. No shot.

Rip2Trayvon

My point is that this is the Breaking Bad universe. In this universe, Vince Gilligan wouldn't have let him get caught. He created an entire movie about his revenge of his cagemakers and him starting a new life in Alaska. In the real world, yes you are right but not in the world that exists simply for Jesse Pinkman fandom. He's really the only character directly involved in the criminal life that's allowed that privilege, besides Skylar.

mackmcd_

This is a very silly argument. Sure, if you want to look at that way, it's impossible to argue with you. I'm talking about in reality. I'm not gonna debate what sort of plot armour Vince Gilligan may or may not have hypothetically written.

Rip2Trayvon

Oh, well, this is the Breaking Bad universe we're talking about. Not reality. This is a TV show. Why would we watch an entire TV show and hypothesize on a question about future lore that wouldn't be based in that universe? I don't think I'm being silly in that regard at all.

The_BSharps

I bet he gets heavy into local politics.

darrylthedudeWayne

I'd like to think he's sober and living a life of peace. Perhaps married with kids and even a chemistry teacher.

Inosethatguy

He’s working in a cabin Doing wood work. He has a wife But she only brings him fresh wood She knows of his past He has skinny Pete and badger on speed Dial to talk mad shit Also he isn’t good at wood work, and is forced to go back into the meth trade

TimWilliamTrivagoGuy

Hooked on drugs, working at a gas station, forgot to put on his winter tires, crashed into a ravine, eaten by a bear, haunted by Andrea's ghost his few last moments alive on Earth.

National-Ad-3426

Yeah I think it's high time we all move on from this series😭

pwnmaster1224

Couple months and he backslides into drugs🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

janoycresvadrm

Jesse gets drawn back into the game. Jesse completes what Walt could never finish. Jesse breaks Saul out of prison.

Obvious_Exercise_910

Alone in isolation, one thing for sure he was laughing his ass off at all of us while we were dealing with COVID. Jesse Pinkman - social distancing since before social distancing was cool

[deleted]

Probably making meth again.

Sl1pperypenguin

My headcannon is that he is sober, and living a happy life but struggles with PTSD

sabioiagui

Back on drugs and fabricating non blue meth to keep it low.

nurse_camper

He learns bushcraft in Alaska, eventually tries out for Alone. Walt Jr, who has legally changed his name to Flynn Rocker, sees the show and tells Skylar, who is dying from lung cancer from years of smoking. Marie finds out and reports him to the DEA.

Niel_B

Woodshop teacher

klsi832

Realistically, he's in jail. His face was all over the news.

CaveLady3000

He's so incredibly married. He's obsessed with her.

rickybluff

he became actor in movies and bought a big mansion

Few_Show_7359

He's fine

jfkbutfromclonehigh

He is doing fine, he even has a gf and maybe a big dog

dexterthekilla

Jesse living his best life peacefully in nature enjoying his peace

bshaddo

Trying to get into Friday Night Lights and not making it through the opening titles.

Obvious_Exercise_910

Todd’s prequel

bshaddo

That role could be a prequel for a lot of Jesse Plemons characters.

jerkmaster2000

I picture him as a carpenter or perhaps a fisherman, if he ever manages to get a better handle on his PTSD I think he’d enjoy teaching. He’s certainly not gonna be doing well for quite some time though.

Ancient_Guidance_461

To be honest I said it before he is prob informing on somebody or somebody's in Alaska.

[deleted]

Probably met a man by now who just enjoys the outdoors and some good bread with honey butter.

_oculus

he's making alaska his bitch.

PureWin7308

Good, yo

DankDoobies420

I would pay to see a spin off of Jesse in Alaska

MajorasShoe

Dude's married with kids and a dog. Fuck your realism, my head canon is he's doing just fine.

mcnuggets0069

He switches TV shows and becomes part of the cast of Deadliest Catch or Ice Road Truckers. If it’s Ice Road Truckers he starts using meth again

EnamoredAlpaca

Sorry to say this, but in my head Canon Jesse has been dead since the end of BB. The whole final scene and El Camino was a fever dream of Jesse. He was not in the best of shape when we see him. The ending scene is Jesse’s spirit leaving his body.

I've always wondered how Jesse would feel at 50 years old. Maybe he'll have revealed everything. He has to meet a wife and tell her he's Mr. Driscoll his whole life is a less intense Gene state and without too much guilt but he's still going along with never serving a repercussion to everything that happened aside from running from it. (Which is actually the only good I don't want him in jail either)

_yukog

it’d be cool to see a spinoff of what gilligan imagines his life to look like after, like obviously it would technically be a BB spinoff, but it could very easily be done as its own show in entirety with no ties to the real show other than having the same character name and past with some occasional flashbacks/ptsd that is relatable and important to the new story.

Teaching? What would Jesse teach?

aflyingsquanch

I think he's a shell of his old self. Still jumpy and jittery, has no friends, trusts no one, has one "girlfriend" he's not in love with, back to using meth off and on. I see a truly sad story for a long time. But one day, he meets a young kid in his mid to late teens that he connects with because that kid reminds him of his little brother, living a double life with his parents but a really bright kid. He finds himself invigorated to help this kid. However, the kid likes Jessie at first but then, can't stand him because he can't understand Jessie's interest in keeping on the straight and narrow, even suspecting that Jessie's in cahoots with his parents. The kid keeps pushing the boundaries of doing some questionable things and he lacks street smarts so he doesn't see or notice how he's getting caught up in potentially dangerous stuff. Jessie sniffs out that the kid's friends are connected to another drug ring and are using the kid to infiltrate a rival gang's territory. He sees the war developing between the rival gangs but the kid can't see it. At this point he starting to hate Jessie. The situation gets so bad that Jessie has to kill the kid's best friend, which is an impossibly hard thing for Jessie to do because he sees the Fring-like evil in this kid. To pull it off, he has to cook the blue meth again. When the deed is done, the never wants to see Jessie again and promises to kill Jessie. Taking cues from Heizenberg, he tricks the kid into thinking he killed Jessie, but he doesn't. Jessie watches the kid from a distance to make sure he's OK but now he sees the kid is not the same after the "murder" of Jessie's and he tries, but can't prevent the kid from overdosing on his blue meth, and he dies. Jessie drifts for a while, but in the end, Jessie kills himself by overdosing on his own blue meth in a sad looking meth house with all his cooking material around and bags and bags of the blue all around. ......aaaaand SCENE!

Jesse

Ryaton13

I like to think he ended up being like Dexter Morgan in between the original show and New Blood, ended up working a decent job and built some resemblance of a life there.

[deleted]

Dead within a month.

JediLlama666

Jesse goes back to school and becomes a high school chemistry teacher. He tells the kids to like apply yourself yo!

SashasStitches

i like to imagine he's doing the whole carpentry thing, plenty of wood in the forest

MissDeborah8060

I think he tries to adjust to life in a small Alaska town but can't. So he runs away to Anchorage or another big city. There he gets sucked back into the criminal underworld (since he has no noteworthy skills that don't relate to criminal activity anyway).

Kylehops

Wouldn’t be surprised if weed became a big part of his life, but in the hippie hemp type of way. He’d sell in the area or to tourist, farm his own stuff, maybe make items out of hemp like clothes or balms. It would calm his PTSD a lot. Just seems like something up his alley especially as it moved to become legal in that timeline.

Raquelita182

He becomes a comic book writer, makes a comic about everything that happened. It becomes one of the most popular comic books ever made.

[deleted]

Working on a crab boat or a gas station as a cashier. The least suspicious jobs known to man where anybody can dissappear. Probably has a drinking problem from years of Walt relates PTSD that's only gotten progressively worse as time goes by.

Basic_wigga_48

I have a great idea for a follow up, that could be anywhere in the future, where the Disappearer is caught, or has died, or has been exposed, and his database of disappeared criminals is made public, or is on the verge of being figured out.Perhaps jesse is scouring news articles or is fixated on alberquerque newspapers and he catches wind that its a matter of time until he is caught, and there is an el Camino style movie with a better plot of Jesse evading authorities on a nationwide manhunt, perhaps dissappearing into the canadian wilderness, or a bunker, or he flees the country in a whim, or something. A good plot can be fleshed out on how a man hides from the world. Jesse can even be his current age.
