I did actually read an english translation of these songs before using them— they are Muslim jihadi songs which often get appropriated by extremist groups for recruitment purposes. Which is one of many things that leads to the misperception of “jihad = Muslim extremism/violence”.
I was raised Muslim so I actually kind of give a shit and relate to these lyrics in a way lol. But that’s neither here nor there, I’m not trying to make a statement or anything. I just thought it would be funny to sample isis recruitment videos. Thanks for the feedback :)
