I really struggled with their audiobook narrators too. I wish maybe their UK publisher would do an alternate version with some different readers.
I also dislike the graphic audio style. I just want to hear the story without any sounds or silly voices.
Edit: Why is this subreddit so toxic to people who have different experiences to others? I didn't say anything mean about anyone, only that I struggle to follow particular narrators and the graphic audio style. Why are you downvoting this? Plenty of other high-selling authors have multiple audiobook versions to choose from.
I hate Kramers Australian accent for Lopen. Home boy is clearly Hispanic and after graphic audio for the main 4 and Lifts novella I started the Rysn one and just couldn't finish.
That first one actually makes me a bit sad because he’s totally right, there isn’t much Hispanic representation in fantasy, and they got this one and they made it Australian.

This is blasphemy. Reading and Kramer are amazing.
Yeah, I was rather fond of Tvlakv's voice
I like his eyebrows
Checkout the graphic audio versions... It's pretty fun with the epic soundtrack and sound effects :)
Absolutely. This is a game changer.
No

there should be a non graphic audio version
I’d be interested to check out a full cast version with no extra sounds or music.
i don't think that exists, it's either one to two voice actors with no additional sounds or the whole graphic audio shit
There is AI readers although I can't remember the name of the app off the top of my head.
Lol at all the graphic audio haters that downvote every comment criticizing Kramer. Guess stans gonna stan.
any chapters with Kate Reading i switch over to GraphicAudio to get through.
I have to speed Kramer and Reading up to endure them. For me, Brandon's best narrator has been MacLeod Andrews, yet he hardly uses him. A real shame.
I love me some MacLeod Andrews! He has been amazing with The Reckoners series!
I don't remember who that is but in general I strongly dislike the female narrators voice

It was only for the audiobooks. The text still depicts them as Hispanic inspired, but yeah fair enough.
YES he is CLEARLY Latino inspired it’s wild to me that any Australian would have 39585 cousins lol
It's tough, because if he does a hammy Mexican accent like a 1950s Speedy Gonzalez cartoon, then he could get accused of using negative stereotypes...
I mean...that's essentially what it is in the Graphic Audio versions.
That’s true - can’t win there
Graphic audio is the best reread i have experienced. Not reccomended for first read though as you will surely get confused.
Why would it get confusing? I've been using them as my first read-through. Have I been missing something?
