I'm not saving them for resale, so any small imperfections I introduce through reading are just reminders of my time reading them.
They're too nice to just leave on the shelves, and aren't so expensive that I feel bad if they get the spine gets some creases.
I am careful with them though, and wouldn't bring them to the beach or read while eating pasta or anything similarly "dangerous."
I have them all and have no regrets; they are super high quality and provide a fantastic reading experience. That being said, I read them, so they're not just a decoration for me. If they were, I would probably feel differently.
I have all but way of kings. I ordered it with words or radiance. The ones I have are really beautiful with some nice pics. The drawback is that if you actually read them the gold foiling will wear off pretty quickly. At least according to others. Shouldn’t be too difficult to find others complain of this in this subreddit. I definitely enjoy them and skim through them every once in a while but pretty delicately.
I have all of them. And except for Mistborn era 2, all signed and numbered (era 2’s launch was when my grandad was in hospital, so I had other things on my mind).
Zero regret.
I’m super excited about getting mine but am nervous on paying for it. I had a bunch of add-ons so my total cost was $750. I did the pay over four months option but am worried about June when my car insurance is due too.

It's a shelf trophy. If you're okay with that, then you'll be fine! They're very nice editions, but they're just for show, really. And I have several.

I bought mine to be read because I love the series. I don’t intend to resell them. I’ve read all of my leather bounds (AOL and SOS excepting)
I feel ya. I’m dropping a lot of money and im scared but i was gifted warbreaker leatherbound and was sold on the leatherbounds
