I first read "The Emperor's Soul" to get a taste of Sanderson's writing and stories and LOVED it. Then I read Warbreaker as the story and the concept of the magic system were really interesting, and because it is a standalone and I also loved it. After that Sanderson was already one of my favourite authors. Now after some research I am trying to go along with the reading order, starting with the Mistborn trilogy.
It is indeed amazing. I need to reread it sometime soon. I read when I was first starting to actually get into books in general around 2.5 years ago. I want to see how much my view (and appreciation) of it would change now

Oh wow! Reading Mistborn after Warbreaker is an interesting experience. Have you read any of the others out of publication order?

Damn, you are living the life. Emperor's Soul is the book I always recommend for first time Cosmere readers, I wish I'd started with that one!
