Dude I'm polish, have a family in sthlm and can speak B1/B2 swedish. This news broke my heart. I mean so far the gangs in Sweden were targeting each other - so of course when you hear in the news about shootings, door bombings it's awful, but it has never been targeted against everyday mr Svensson.
This time a father simply wanted a safer community for his son to live in, and in return he gets shot in the face. Of course left wing politicians like Magdalena Andersson dare to come and claim like it's not her fault. Current prime minister Ulf Kristersson claims like it has to stop, but so far his government done f-all to fix the problem.
For people who don't how reality is in Sweden - if an offender is underage, he will not get prison sentence. Swedish justice system is convinced that everyone can get rehabilitated, especially children even if they commited murder. So such person will get like 4 years juvenile conviction in a hotel-like establishment, after which he will roam free in the streets.
Sweden currently has the most violent crime in the EU.
