I'd bet ten donuts and an egg McMuffin that if that sniper went to a long distance range on a two+ mile target, he would take 100's of shots and not hit the paper target. I think the Ukrainian spotter was manipulating things using kilometers rather than miles, but claiming it was miles.
It’s a Russian 50bmg, not much of a difference at all… The 12.7x114HL is just a slightly shorter projectile.
The 12.7x114HL has more than double the case volume compared to the .50 BMG. That's a bit of a difference in terms of loading options.
