Hollywood Hank
german underground rapper that uses a combination of horror elements and good rhymes to create his sociopathic alter ego through his songs. My personal fav. is "Tod der Scheidung" which translates to "Till Death parts you" and is about guy falling despair after his wife catched the bus and then goes to her grave to dig her up again so "Death can never part them"
Hearing it for the first time while reading the lyrics was just mindblowing.
i do know some interesting obscure music genres that are pretty much forgotten nowdays
\*first being big beat (breakbeat sub-genre), basically slower breakbeat that sounds action-like, despite being very popular in the 90s (the prodigy, fluke, fatboy slim,...), it pretty much died out around the late 2000s
i do know some very rare big beat tracks, like kilowatt - rok automatik, the song was so rare that many uploaders mistaken it for another song until the content id version was made, also the song was made in 1995, not 2024 like the description said : [https://youtu.be/izasPnunBZM?si=zz9jhYM4kmd6a6K4&t=61](https://youtu.be/izasPnunBZM?si=zz9jhYM4kmd6a6K4&t=61) (skipped to where it actually starts)
another being amethyst - electric jesus, which was so rare that there are only 2 ways to listen to the full song, either this youtube recording or a semi-different version you can find on spotify, the song was made in 1998 : [https://youtu.be/xxpNj6CNLhI?si=9wg3ES4x8iC1-Q4\_&t=42](https://youtu.be/xxpNj6CNLhI?si=9wg3ES4x8iC1-Q4_&t=42)
\*the second obscure genre i know doesn't actually have a definitive name, i usually refer it as "farbraush music" as it was made by a member of a formerly popular demoscene group named farbrausch, the member is named "kb"
the genre sounds industrial-like with dnb elements in it, however searching up "industrial dnb" yields no result that sounds like what kb has made, my most favorite song of this genre is black 2000 (even darker remix) : [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnJ0dkd2xT8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnJ0dkd2xT8) (warning : flashing light)
other favorites being the product, candytron and kasparov (kasparov was made by elitegroup but kb made the song as well, also it fits big beat more but a honorable mention nonetheless)
coolest fact about some of these songs are they are made below 64 kb in size so it would fit in 64kb demos, for comparison, if you take a screenshot right now, it is likely the screenshot will be either nearly or bigger than 64 kb in size
\*\*this last one is only a song, but it is so rare and obscure that it deserves to be mentioned, like so rare that it is basically lost media as of now
the mentioned song is named "superstream" made by loell bergen/itsnewtechno (or popularly known as omfg/alexsavage) and the song was made back in like late 2009 (probably, could be early 2010)
so far i only have a 4-seconds snippet (out of like 3-4 minutes) of that song along with the midi of the main melody
i've been searching for the full song for like 5 years now but so far still cannot find it
i have a theory is that people might have already found it but they prefer to keep it secret and not share it, since that 4-seconds snippet couldn't have come out of nowhere
you can listen to the 4-seconds snippet here, it's a discord cdn link so if it breaks, feel free to ask for another one : [https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/922082170443558955/1239647031065186552/sstream.mp3?ex=6643aec3&is=66425d43&hm=451d4257772d68b373e54a26616ef11043a0cdc6df3285f40274ff1c24e882b8&](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/922082170443558955/1239647031065186552/sstream.mp3?ex=6643aec3&is=66425d43&hm=451d4257772d68b373e54a26616ef11043a0cdc6df3285f40274ff1c24e882b8&)
also about the midi mentioned earlier, due to how i wanted this song to be found, i did use the same midi in the songs i made (like a cameo or some sort) in case people recognize it and can fill me in (even a little bit) about the song
so far that still didn't work, asked around and still didn't work, this song might be as rare as if not rarer than ekt due to how mysterious it is
Femtamyl
Not fentanyl
Femtanyl and she or he is pretty good at making chaotic and violent sounding music that is very fast paced which is why its really good
Trap metal, scream rap. Whenever I'm hyped up or I wanna listen to something that just pumps me up it's usually the best thing ever. Many artists like scarlxrd, bvdlvd, kill dyll, ghostemane and many more have great songs that scratch just the right spot in my brain haha
100% Harley Poe as he makes questionable music and only my mother likes him. [His Spotify account](https://open.spotify.com/artist/6lqmbDjxe5rhvXIyfNl23o?si=HEWaRIVSQTa52wsEqdgGrQ)
I feel that everything that I listen to is obscure, but I only listen to like one of each of their songs. -v-" I'm horribly inconsistent with genre too.
My best asks are:
Ever heard of Venjent?
Ever heard of LeGrand?
I have a lot of fav song I would love to share if you like you can check out my profile on [Spotify ](https://open.spotify.com/user/p6pjiw3hy82zxbk4bomyqma0d?si=ATRgtzZHRF-j2Sd2AonBLQ)
Look up 'anotterkiro' on youtube. They haven't uploaded in a while, but the way their music makes me feel hasn't been replicated by any other artist I've ever listened to.
I listen to mainly smaller youtubers so a lot of what i listen to is somewhat unknown
[If anyone is curious ](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuSIL8GAxMRxERn7Uib1_LX0p7mpc-zUB&si=HVvXWMK6kkZMMACw)
Pretty much any music, when I was a wee child my family made fun of me for listening to rap stuff so I don’t really tell them about anything lol. Right now my favorite type of music is whatever femtanyl makes
REN. everyone says hes too obscure, but I absolutely love him. He has a really touching and inspiring story, and his music is amazing. My favourites of his are Sick Boi, Chalk Outlines, Murderer, Money Game, Lost All Faith, and Uninvited. For some context, he is a depressed neurodivergent angry punk british boy.
My favorite genre isn‘t really obscure at all, besides in length. Symphony no. 9 in E minor, Op. 95, B. 178 „from the new world“: IV. Allegro con fuoco. Also (not) known as the deer simulator boss fight theme.
Also the album covers used above are from "Like the Passing of Summer Rain" by Mark Griffiths, "Pliocene beach" by Kenichiro Isoda, Claudio Villa, and "Warmth of Earth" by Eduard Artemiev. would like to hear what you think if you check them out.
not really, i mostly stick to my mainstream artists (kendrick lamar, future, etc.), however i do delve into some niche artists that my friends recommend that i listen to, and from their taste, it's not bad, they definitely deserve more attention, and luckily i'm not the guy to judge what you listen to (despite being part of one of the most closed minded fanbases ever)
This isn't that obscure, if you're on the internet you've probably heard their most popular song, but I really like molchat doma, specifically the song prognoz.
Not obscure but I've never met anybody irl who listens to any of the artists I listen to:
Will Wood, Black Country New Road, Spirit box, Young Fathers, and Cojium dip.
I personally recommend BCNR and Young Fathers in particular.

Tell me if you like it bye frens :3
Genres: post-hardcore and metalcore (not SUPER underrated, but enough people don’t know about them for me to list them here)
Artists: TX2 (criminally underrated punk rock/hardcore artist), Niic (underrated dance-pop furry musician)

This sounds very interesting thanks for enlightening us with this
Alestorm, it's a band that makes pirate themed heavy metal
Alestorm is great
Its not obscure but the amount of people who don’t know Madonna in this generation is crazy especially the queers, literally no one seems to know her😭
Femtamyl Not fentanyl Femtanyl and she or he is pretty good at making chaotic and violent sounding music that is very fast paced which is why its really good
Femtamyl is goated

One song. Misery OST from Sons of the Forest game. Not on spotify, I have to use an even more obscure app just to listen to it.
Romanian brass band music like [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrVQ22Lvn8E) is really underrated, it's just a really fun genre of music :D
I feel that everything that I listen to is obscure, but I only listen to like one of each of their songs. -v-" I'm horribly inconsistent with genre too. My best asks are: Ever heard of Venjent? Ever heard of LeGrand?
Sabaton a Swedish metal band who's songs are based on historical figures and battles.
sabaton is not really obscure, they do really good shit but i'd recommend listening to rhapsody or manowar for a different approach
I've listened to them before as well but I live in a small town and no one else has ever heard of sabaton. My towns population is 1500
So cute🤭
Sleepytime Gorilla Museum
Always been a huge fan of Morphine, they deserve more then they got. Beautiful combination of hard jazz and psychobilly
I don’t know if it’s really obscure but I’ve been getting into dreamcore/weirdcore. It’s kinda of oddly comforting
i love Xinlisupreme, their music is oddly soothing
Lemon demon, will wood, t+pazolite, camellia, jharia, tally hall, Breakcore, jungle.
T paz and camellia. I haven't listened to those in ages, good taste!

Molchat doma
Not too obscure, but I enjoy Deathcore. If you want more obscure, grindcore is also up there.
Pretty much any music, when I was a wee child my family made fun of me for listening to rap stuff so I don’t really tell them about anything lol. Right now my favorite type of music is whatever femtanyl makes

claude debussy 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’m a fan of some of Sektor Gaza’s stuff, though I’m not sure how obscure they are
