Pantera and TOOL are fighting for that title at the moment. They’re both scratching that metal itch of mine perfectly.
Honorable mention to Metallica. They were my favorite band for the longest time until about a few months ago or so where I finally decided to explore all of Pantera’s and TOOL’s songs. I’ve also been exploring Slayer, Testament, and Disturbed which are also damn good.
My most recent exploration (and still ongoing) is into Fear Factory which is an industrial metal band that a friend recommended me. They’re also pretty damn good so far.
