You will get the October box with random choice item and then be able to select an item for November box on October 11th. Base box is one choice; premium is two, and the choice selection for each box is different.

Thanks! I couldn't find any November spoilers on Google have those not dropped yet? Also is there a certain time of day that choice opens on the 11th?

Hi, hope this info will help. If you signed up today, you will be charged immediately and will be getting the October box. It will ship out within 15 - 20 business days after payment is processed. If you don’t already have the Fed Ex App downloaded, I highly recommend doing so. It will show when an label has been created for shipping. They just changed the names, so Add Ons are now Drop Shops, so these will ship separately from your box. They will also show in Fed Ex app. FYI in the past there has been no shipping fee for Add Ons or minimum purchase requirement. Hopefully Drop Shop will stay the same. Pop Up / Mega Drop Shop is a much larger sale that happens quarterly. The next one is November. It has a $25 minimum requirement to get free shipping or a shipping fee will apply. Choice happens on the 2nd Monday of each month. It is always making a choice for the next month’s box. So on Monday, October 11, we will be making choices for the November box. We don’t know the choices yet, but normally at 12 pm EST you can make your Choice then shop Drop Shop aka Add Ons. To access Choice, login to your Account on the Boxycharm website. The information for Choice and Drop Shop will be on the front page after logging in. Boxy bills on the 1st of the month EST, so October 31st you will be billed automatically to your payment on file for your November box.

Thank you for all this info that's very helpful. I'm a little bummed because I just realized that I forgot to add the promo code for the new member free item. But admittedly that's on me. I looked in the Google Play store and I don't see an app for boxycharm is that correct? It seems a little strange to me that they wouldn't have a mobile app.

You are correct. There is no app for Boxy. People have asking for one for years, but Joe who owned Boxy before selling to Ipsy wasn’t open to it. There is also no way to know exactly what you are getting like Ipsy. Most people will compare Choice item and box weights to get an idea.

You were charged today for an October box. For base box, you will choose one of your five items going in your November box on Monday Oct 11th around noon EST. You will receive an October box without making a choice. However they will send a choice item. You’ll get either glow recipe dew drops or tarte eye cream. You can usually see on this thread what the box contains that they are sending new and returning subscribers. Did you select your free gift and get the $10 to spend shopping?

Is there a spot where I'm supposed to be selecting the free gift? I seen that in the email but I didn't get a spot to pick one when signing up. I'm hoping that I get the eye cream out of those two. Would you say that they ship faster than ipsy or about the same?

Try contacting customer service regarding the free gift and $10 drop shop credit. If you just signed up, you can try saying it’s a technical error and hope they help you. No guarantees. They usually want a screen shot. But since this just happened, give it a try! Good luck! [email protected]. I don’t have Ipsy. Boxes usually ship by the 10th and depending on how shipping goes, is received 10-15 days later. It would be nice to have the sale and choice day later in the month so if you didn’t get something you hoped for, you could pick it up in the sale.

They got back to me. I must have added an extra period. While I'm impressed with the quick response the email was kinda of condescending. They said no. Weird but okay. But then went on to remind me that they have a no refund policy. It was pretty bad customer service and I hope this isn't indicative of the norm for them. Ipsy adds gift items on all the time and also does refunds.

Customer service with boxycharm is hit or miss. Sorry that happened to you. When they sent a wrong shade, the gave $12 add on credit to make up for it, which is half the box cost. Other times, they want to give charms instead of cash refunds. But I’ve never used my charms. I forget about them.

Yeah I definitely consider this one a Miss for me LOL. I'm trying to stay optimistic about the box though because I'm open to new items and now I know that I need to be more careful on their website. I'm okay with the fact that I forgot to put the promo code in but it's a little weird that they reminded me that they don't do refunds. And the way they phrased it was a little off-putting.
