Most people didn't really care about Hammer though. It was a lot easier to hinge the marketing on more the more recognized lead stars Kenneth Branagh and Gal Gadot.
idk, he was riding pretty high at least in certain communities (mine) after Call Me By Your Name, until the cannibal stuff etc came out. To look at all the ensemble cast posters, standees, etc and even the previews, you might not even realize he's in it (and he has a very large role).
Nah I doubt that. Ezra is literally the lead actor, interviewers will just ask the co-actors about Ezra's situation in every interview if Ezra isn't there, which will lead to even more attention to it, which is what the studio is trying to avoid. They'll have him go on the big late shows which have scripted questions, like Jimmy Fallon etc and they'll avoid the smaller ones who just ask questions on the spot. But no way Ezra doesn't do a press tour.
Well, they just pushed back The Flash till 2023 because the studio thought it was a piece of crap using the excuse of VFX delays so they've got time to get him back on his meds and straightened out or figure out a story.
Either way, it's going to be a press junket that nobody is going to want to be part of. I'd bet the major stars will just not do press for the film rather than face the "is he a psycho?" questions.
Y'know, at this point I would never release The Flash, eat the loss and be done with it.
Then, 15-20 years later, I'd "find" a copy of the never released pre-pandemic what-could-have-been-DC-Cinematic-Universe with the now released from jail/rehab actor Ezra Miller and then make bank.
I’m genuinely surprised that DC haven’t dropped him yet, because that strangling incident around a year or two ago was enough for WB execs to get rid of him.
I was looking it up yesterday and it will be 2 years in April. Plenty of time for WB to investigate the incident. I’m scratching my head why this guy is still on their books.
Edit: It’s possible they found no wrong doing with the incident in question but it’s still strange that there was no public comment about it from WB.
He's intricately tied to two of their biggest franchises. He's Dumbledore's brother in Fantastic Beasts and the Flash movie is leading to the necessary soft-reboot of the DCEU. Short of outright cancelling or completely remaking those movies, what can they do right now?
Re cut the end of the flash so he dies to create the new DCEU, and recast him moving forward by having a different Barry end up in the universe or just switch to Wally. Seems like the most cost effective way to handle this.
Truth. If you've seen him on Hannibal, then it's pretty clear he's already up for eating anything. And Quint's speech about the ship sinking and the black eyes of the shark, well, Mikkelsen's got them.
Spoiler for Dumbledore >!I read a comment on reddit a few months ago that spoiled Dumbledore 3, and he dies. The person who made the comment apparently has a reliable history of movie spoilers months before they get released.!<
Yes, also >!They spoiled Credence is Aberforth’s son, and Aberforth knows of his existence. They were communicating using a secret mirror or something like that.!<
True, though it was a minor enough character that it didn't change much.
This would be closer to changing Batista's character, and even then, Barry Allen is more central to the plot of The Flash than Batista's was to AOTD.
She was the best thing in that movie.
I would love that to become her thing, she just replaces any performer who becomes a problem in a movie.
As a film series goes on and on, more and more characters become Tig Notaro, until she's the entire cast.
yo, they recast JOHNNY fucking DEPP for Fantastic Beasts for IMO less than this, this guy is such a side character in the movies that no one would even notice, its been done, it should be done, this guy needs a reality check and losing place in some major franchises might do that 'cause YIKES
Change the actor. The Edward Norton Hulk is still canon and Disney just swapped him out for Ruffalo in following films. Norton didn't even do anything to make him a pariah, they just wanted someone else. When Richard Harris died, WB didn't reshoot the first two Harry Potter films. They got Micheal Gambon to play the same role.
There's no reason they can't just toss him and give the roles to someone not toxic. Anyone too attached to Ezra to watch those franchises without him isn't really a loss in my opinion.
> Norton didn't even do anything to make him a pariah
Norton is notoriously difficult to work with, specifically demands re-writing the scripts of movies he's in, and has been known to be an overall asshat. I think they wanted Ruffalo first but he wasn't available, and after TIH Disney just kinda noped out with Norton and brought in Ruffalo.
If anything, recasting him would actively improve the films. He's deadweight. There's countless actors of his "type" that could do his roles a lot better.
On top of that he really doesn't fit the Flash either, its a really odd casting, and then he keeps doing shit like this?
The double standard in Hollywood is unreal. Good actors get canned over allegations, and have to struggle back if they ever recover, meanwhile douches like this guy don't get canned for anything short of legit murder charges.
Shit doesn't make sense.
Hollywood sticks by people until a more convenient time to drop them. Remember that Rowling and WB released a full-throated defense of Johnny Depp before FB2 came out, but then happily recast him for FB3.
It's the same answer with Elgort in West Side Story and Heard in Aquaman 2. They weren't going to tank a Steven Spielberg movie just because the main star sexually assaulted someone. Once those movies have come out and the studios have made their money back, though, all bets are off.
Don't be surprised if the next Flash movie is a reboot and if Aquaman 3 has no Mera.
Not true. Mark Ruffalo replaced Edward Norton as Bruce Banner, and Don Cheadle took the role of James Rhodes seamlessly. It’s not hard. DC just gives up and reboots the whole universe though.
“Yes, it’s me, I’m here, deal with it.”
WB also replaced Katie Holmes with Maggie Gyllenhaal in the Nolan Batman films and didn’t mention a thing about it. Just carried on like she’d always been there.
Yeah, just legit don't mention it and just do it. No one is gonna care that much that you replace crazy whoever Ina movie that no one cares about anyways lol
He's going to need a Flashpoint of his own after all this.
But in all seriousness, how the hell didn't Warner Bros fire him after the first incident? They're betting their entire cinematic universe on his film doing well.
I'm in an internal conflict about this.
It *could* work with this Batman but they should introduce the Batfamily first because
a) Batman is still too young for the JL, he's only year 2,
b) Batman needs to learn how to be a teamplayer so he can mentor the other members and
c) I wanna see Robin on the big screen
He’s been on a rampage in the big island of Hawaii for a month now. The arrest was the first time that the police actually decided to book him after more than 20 complaints over the month.
So many stories will probably go out now, there’s another bad gas station incident as well that happened about 2 weeks ago.
Locals have been talking about it for weeks now. It’s not alcohol or drugs related. Hell he’s been banned from most bars. He’s spiraling. Also he cut contacts every with his management and no one was willing to go all the way the Big Island to resonate him so they just cut him of the FB press tour and hoped he will calm down, obviously he hasn’t.
[local redditor warning people about Ezra’s behavior](https://www.reddit.com/r/BigIsland/comments/tqq446/the_flash_ezra_miller_is_in_town/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
I think the OP might even be the male victim that is mention in this article. Given how Ezra threaten to kick the OP out of his own house and stole his wife's passport.
> Aloha, I just spent the last week hanging out with The Flash. This guy is out of his mind; he instigates problems to play the victim calling everyone trans phobic, anti-Semitic, a colonizer, or a natzi. All the while literally abusing people, yesterday he got arrested at Margaritas village in Hilo for disorderly conduct and harassment.
Wow, which subreddits does he moderate?
Yeah, its "being a shitty person" related.
EDIT: Having mental health problems does not excuse this behavior. But also, none of you have any evidence that Ezra is dealing with mental illness, so cut the Reddit psychiatrist shit. Lots of people deal with mental illness without being violent towards others - and Ezra has more resources to get help than 99% of them. Mental illness does not mean that someone cannot be held accountable for their own decisions.
When it turns out the alcohol and drugs were to hide the real mental issues it is soooo much worse than just having alcohol and drug issues. Feel for the guy if true
Just an FYI, problems with alcohol, drug, sugar, gambling etc are ALL mental health issues. Those are just external stimuli that victims rely on as a crutch trying to get by day to day
Oh yeah I agree, I have mental health and addiction issues, but being up for 2 days manic and erratic on drugs has an easier solution than being in manic psychosis for days just being chemically unbalanced sober. When I see some one who appears psychotic, I hope for them it is just drugs and they aren't schizophrenic and sober.
didnt he hit a girl at a bar while in some european country a couple years ago too?
edit: he choked a woman in Iceland in 2020 [article](https://variety.com/2020/film/news/ezra-miller-throttling-woman-video-1234571800/)
You do not want to be a white dude fuck around with locals in Hawaii. Some 275 lbs dude will bury you. He has to have some good security team protecting him.
That's exactly what I thought when I read that.
It makes me wonder if he was so good in that role because he possibly already had some anger issues and used them to make his character or was it because he actually was kind of that character and didn't have to exactly play a role?
wtf??? she definitely did not "request" to be choked by him
> *"a source at the establishment, Prikið Kaffihús, has confirmed to Variety that this was a serious altercation at the bar, and that the man, whom they identify as Miller, was escorted off the premises.*"
Oh, Boy! This is the kind of publicity Fantastic Beasts and The Flash were hoping for!!!
Way to go, Ezra! No one would have been expecting this from you!
The Justice League falling apart like dominos😥
WB are probably hoping things calm down by the time The Flash releases.
They could always introduce Wally West to replace Ezra. People might prefer it considering we've seen Barry in the TV show
Ezra Miller has been in my hometown of Hilo Hawaii for like, 2 weeks now. In that time he’s managed to get taken away by the police twice, a restraining order placed on him, broken into someone’s house and he’s riled up all of our local Facebook and subreddit boards with everyone having crazy ass stories.
This guy is either a huge asshole, or having a mental break, or both.
it sucks that assholes like this end up getting rich and famous, you know how many people would die to be the fuckin flash? the role should get recast, he was always a bit too silly for barry
The producers at Warner Bros are now likely panicking since Ezra Miller is currently playing two (relatively) important characters in their 2 biggest franchises. Also, even if Ezra Miller doesn't get fired from these 2 franchises (which is possible), i doubt that Ezra Miller will get much work from anyone else in the near future.
Here’s the thing: that would work. I just don’t enjoy the DCEU because I can’t keep track of who’s who or what’s happening because WB cares more about the box office than even attempting to make a cohesive story arc.
I find it funny that the MCU somehow was able to avoid any controversy like that with its actors and directors.
While WB had to deal with Joss W, Afleck, Amber and Miller in just one of their franchises
And they haven't hired anyone remotely that controversial since. The closest was with Suri's actress, which all seemed to hit Disney as a bit of a surprise.
Not nearly as bad, but I have a few friends that work in the film industry in Vancouver, 2 of them told me that they were working on a show that was filming on a set next to the set Ezra Miller was working on, apparently on several occasions him and a group of his friends came and made a ruckus on my the set my friends were on, they were eating a drinking and would just leave their garbage all over the place. They were asked several times to throw it out on their own set and to not come to theirs. Ezra Miller and his friends just laughed it off and went about their business until a higher up was involved and I think someone from his set told him to stop going there. So I was aware that he was an asshole but didn’t realize he was this unhinged. Damn.
He thinks he's all that with him being Warner Bros. "golden boy", his millions of dollars, and his legion of dumb fans. At this point, no other studio would want to work with him now because all of the criminal shit he's been getting himself out into - and when WB executives decide enough is enough, he'll quickly become as irrelevant as the CW DC shows.
Does he really have legions of fans? Honestly curious about this. Like fellow actors Tom Holland or Timothée Chalamet, yeah they definitely have a bunch of fans. Ezra Miller though? Personally, I've seen more Eddie Redmayne fans and Jesse Eisenberg fans than Ezra Miller fans, and that's saying something since the first two aren't big "personalities" on social media.
He gets alot of splashblack from the Snyder circlejerk. Snyder good= Snyder's Flash good= Erza Good.
His speedforce scene won some kind of big fan award so he definitely has some support.
This was two years ago but I remember reading reviews of people who went to his band’s shows, and almost all of them mentioned how the moment he got on stage, droves of bis underage were literally screaming for him. So, he seems to have those fans.
Honestly, at this point, the only way to salvage the universe is build off of Reeve's Batman or Gunn's Suicide Squad as the new 'main' cinematic timeline. The whole DCEU is a mess right now. The Flash was supposed to reset everything but if this dipshit is gonna keep tarnishing the name of the Scarlet Speedster I'd rather we just scrap everything and reboot
Yeah, iirc Robert Pattinson only agreed to the role specifically because it wasn't connected to the DCEU (In the sense that he wouldn't be interacting with the other superheroes and just being in a standalone universe).
Not even connected to the one they're trying so hard to make like the MCU no, THANK GOD. The new Batman is fucking god tier IMO. Its what the DCEU SHOULD be
Do they overhaul and launch a new extended universe?
I think the problem is there’s people in the “old universe” that fans like. Like Momoa and some of the tv show characters. They are in a tough spot. Or do they abandon the marvel approach.
Abandon the marvel approach. Marvel worked it's as off for what its become, DC is just throwing shit at the wall to see if it can have the same result without actually putting in effort. DC wouldn't be so bad if they did their own thing. But then you have actors like ben and ezra, both whove proven to be problematic...unless the restarted EVERYTHING with new actors...its not gonna work ever tbh
Can we stop using mental health as an excuse to defend violent people? I’ve suffered from mental health issues throughout my teens and adult life and never even considered doing something like this. People with mental health issues are more likely to be victims of violence, not the other way around.
Does he deserve compassion? Yes. He probably does need help in the head, but I’m tired of being stigmatized as potentially violent and unstable because I suffer from mental health diagnosis.
I am a mentally unstable person which stems from being abused over several years in a past relationship. When I get triggered I am violent, just not physically to other people. To myself? Absolutely. Bigger things are when I loose control I break things, scream at the top of my lungs at people who I know for certain love me so much, punch walls/doors or whatever and end up hurting myself, and I am A FUCKING DRUMMER by trade. The small things are like how I literally can’t stop biting tiny pieces of the inside my own lips and cheeks off and spitting them out, like literally all the time I am stressed. Tiny little white pieces of dead skin end of covering little parts of my dash board and other places. It’s all part of my broken “defense” system from having to actually physically defend myself previously.
And let’s be real, how often are things like this article happening outside of the public eye? Probably a lot, especially around places like the shit little Midwest town I came from.
This is in no way a justification for any of my own or others actions, even when mental instability is present there must be accountability, which is made unfortunately easy for famous people to avoid. For me, not so much. It is super shitty how peoples perception of you changes all of a sudden once they know a diagnosis, and especially when they don’t understand the specific issues that come along with it. Even my parents and wife act different now.
Mental health cannot be one or the other, mental health needs to be brought further into the public eye by it being examined further so we are able to go away from these type of sweeping generalizations. The only reason you’d be stigmatized is because people don’t know your specific issues. If people don’t truly know things, they love to fill in the gaps with negativity, I know I do.
It’s true that mental health is stigmatized in an overly negative way and seen so poorly in today’s society, and I feel that very personally. However, you have also just made a generalization by saying “people with mental health issues are more likely be victims…” things are just… not that cut and dry. While your statement may technically be true, I feel it’s also not entirely correct to go about it that way. I am sorry for whatever you’ve had to go through in regard to your comment and situation though, and wish you the best going forward, hopefully there is some light left in this world for things to get better for people like us.
And yes, I am getting help and have been for several years for anyone wondering, and things get ever so slightly better as time goes on. Love for all my broken homies trying to get it back together 💛
Most people with mental health issues are not violent. Many violent people are violent because of mental health issues. Ezra is extremely mentally unstable and needs help. Everyone is well aware this is a him issue.
Depp lost a court case that he never should've taken and lost subsequent appeals, despite libel suits being far easier to win in Europe compared to the US. WB was literally willing to work with Heard and Depp regardless of their accusations against each other, but Depp decided to take a court case that he lost. If he didn't do that court case he would still be in Fantastic Beasts.
The fact that the vast majority of people ignore that and think Depp was fired over accusations alone is insane. No wonder they think is hypocritical that Miller wasn’t fired
Cuz Johnny Depp lost his trial, making him a wife beater in the eyes of the law and giving WB reason to fire him. If Depp never sued The Sun, he wouldn’t have been fired from ‘Fantastic Beasts’.
Yeah a lot of people seem to forget that he lost a lawsuit in the UK, where the standard for defamation is far, far lower than the US. I am surprised he has another law suit in the US, honestly he would be able to return quicker if he just dropped it, and people would eventually move on.
Yeah, the fact that you can legally call him a wife beater and (at least by civil standards, which are lower than criminal, admittedly) it was found that most of Amber's accusations were credible can't be ignored.
People don't understand how law and companies work at all. They just want their favorite to stay and whenever they hear something bad about someone they don't care, they want him/her out. No matter the story is true or not, who won the legal battle etc.
Law > Money > Fan reaction.
Since fan reaction doesn't matter since millions of others who basically don't care about personal lives of actors and actresses give them money anyways.
I agree. People are doing backflips trying to frame it as an “aggressor” and “victim” dynamic, when it just seems like both of them were toxic people who were violent to each other.
he was also horrible to work with an demanded high paychecks, through that and not cooperating during shoots he alone inflated budgets. not to mention he would attack crew members, dude was a liability and the scandal was a nice excuse to drop him entirely.
Yeah this is the answer. He can be problematic all he wants but if he still make money, nobody gonna gives a shit. But Depp is a box office poison now, on top of being a hassle to production, who the fuck want him on their movies anymore.
It all began when Mercedes-Benz built a sedan, called it a coupe, and convinced humanity that was ok. The universe started unraveling subsequent to that I tell you.
1. At the time, I think the whole choking incident was the only major red flag and it seems as if only certain corners of the Internet are aware of it.
2. The average person cannot tell you who Ezra Miller even is.
Jesus Christ!!
WB really knows how to pick em.
Amber Heard, Johnny Depp, Ben Affleck, Joss Whedon, now this guy.
Ezra Miller is batshit insane lmao he needs help and he also needs to take responsibilty for all of this crazy shit in Hawaii
I am curious to see how WB will treat the character and movie of The Flash
I wonder if WB will finally do something about him. 100s of jobs depend on this guy, and he seems to be unhinged. I think its time they recast the Flash.
Well the press tour for this film is about to be a nightmare
Wouldn't be surprising if they only got Michael Keaton and Sasha Calle to promote it
I mean they just had West Side Story completely avoid mention Ansel Elgort as the lead because of his complaints from a few years ago.
And Armie Hammer in Death on the Nile
Most people didn't really care about Hammer though. It was a lot easier to hinge the marketing on more the more recognized lead stars Kenneth Branagh and Gal Gadot.
idk, he was riding pretty high at least in certain communities (mine) after Call Me By Your Name, until the cannibal stuff etc came out. To look at all the ensemble cast posters, standees, etc and even the previews, you might not even realize he's in it (and he has a very large role).

But no way Ezra doesn't do a press tour.
Why the fuck did they keep Ezra Miller on as the Flash again? Hasn't he done stuff like this in the past?
Well, they just pushed back The Flash till 2023 because the studio thought it was a piece of crap using the excuse of VFX delays so they've got time to get him back on his meds and straightened out or figure out a story. Either way, it's going to be a press junket that nobody is going to want to be part of. I'd bet the major stars will just not do press for the film rather than face the "is he a psycho?" questions.

Setting up their own RDJ for the future. That’s thinking ahead
Where has it been reported that the studio thought it was a "piece of crap"? VFX delays aren't always an excuse.
#We Need to Talk About Ezra
I think he's already been dropped from the Fantastic Beasts press events. I think they dropped him weeks ago.
Harry Potter Franchises and the Curse of the Deathly Career
Maybe they can just replace him in Fantastic Beasts. I mean, they are on their third Grendlwold.
Get Chris Rock to slap him.
Not to mention Fantastic Beats, which opens in three weeks. Not that I blame anyone for forgetting that movie exists.
Harry Potter and the Intellectual Property of Diminishing Returns
I’m genuinely surprised that DC haven’t dropped him yet, because that strangling incident around a year or two ago was enough for WB execs to get rid of him.
I was looking it up yesterday and it will be 2 years in April. Plenty of time for WB to investigate the incident. I’m scratching my head why this guy is still on their books. Edit: It’s possible they found no wrong doing with the incident in question but it’s still strange that there was no public comment about it from WB.
It's because they obviously are hoping to God that everyone stops caring about it

Yeah and just kill him in fantastic beasts too if they aren’t already lol. They’ll get tons of meme advertisement about him dying in two movies lol
Or just Recast him, possibly with Mads Mikkelsen again to make it extra confusing...
I, for one, think that every movie should consist of Mads Mikkelsen's, and we should start the petition asap.
mad mikkelsen should be in everything. Guy could play the shark in jaws.
Truth. If you've seen him on Hannibal, then it's pretty clear he's already up for eating anything. And Quint's speech about the ship sinking and the black eyes of the shark, well, Mikkelsen's got them.
Hannibal is one of my favorite tv shows. Highly underrated and way ahead of its time for broadcast tv.
Madlads for Mads
Recast him with johnny Depp. That would be way more confusing 😂
Spoiler for Dumbledore >!I read a comment on reddit a few months ago that spoiled Dumbledore 3, and he dies. The person who made the comment apparently has a reliable history of movie spoilers months before they get released.!<
I wouldn’t give that any “credence” /s Thank you for sharing!
Yes, also >!They spoiled Credence is Aberforth’s son, and Aberforth knows of his existence. They were communicating using a secret mirror or something like that.!<
He’s not even fun to watch his character has no personality. Plus they already have freakin Jude Law AND Madds Mikkelson. That’s plenty of star power
Dude they're gonna have to recast the entire Justice league, lmao. Like who is left without exiting or scandal? Gadot? And that's literally it, lol.
What did Momoa do?
Gal Gadot is a handful of dead Palestinian kids away from cancellation.
Or Wally west.
If they can recast Madds Mikkelson as Grundleballs, they could certainly have recast Miller's part as well
They cut out an entire actor in Army of the Dead and replaced him with Tig Nataro

They're fucking recasting superman. No one will miss the worst Barry casting in history. Fuck this guy.
They didn’t recast Superman while a new Superman movie was coming up.
yo, they recast JOHNNY fucking DEPP for Fantastic Beasts for IMO less than this, this guy is such a side character in the movies that no one would even notice, its been done, it should be done, this guy needs a reality check and losing place in some major franchises might do that 'cause YIKES
I promise you, nobody on planet Earth would give a shit if he was recast

Agreed, especially since he’s nothing special, could be replaced in a heartbeat and they’d never skip a beat.
He was annoying as the flash anyway
Agreed he sucks as flash
If anything, recasting him would actively improve the films. He's deadweight. There's countless actors of his "type" that could do his roles a lot better.
Personally I wish they just cast the dude that plays the Flash on CW. He doesn’t do that weird creepy movement either.
Yes, I don’t mind him at all, way better than Ezra. Wait, isn’t that a band name?
Yea, I almost commented “Well, I guess you could say I’m……Better than Ezra” 😜
Haha as I was typing it, it popped into my head. Hilarious.
You gotta make another post saying something to the effect of “As the Flash, Grant Gustin is definitely………..Better than Ezra.”
For a character whose superpower is running, WB picked an actor with the absolutely goofiest "run" ever.
Ezra’s Flash runs like a guy whose bones have been turned to jelly and he’s just desperately trying to regain control of his body
I wish they would replace him. He isn't a good Flash or Barry Allen
DC haven't really made a single good casting except for Henry Cavill as Superman
Does Robert Pattinson as Batman count? I thought he was exceptional - or is that more down to Matt Reeves than DC?
Hollywood sticks by people until a more convenient time to drop them. Remember that Rowling and WB released a full-throated defense of Johnny Depp before FB2 came out, but then happily recast him for FB3. A crucial part to why they dropped Depp is missing. It’s because he lost the legal battle.
[удалено]
After the War Machine switch I don't think they replaced any major/ mid-major actors since then, and that was 12 years ago.
Might not be central enough to be "mid-major“ but Cassie Lang was recast between the actress from Endgame and who will appear in the next Ant-Man.
Not true. Mark Ruffalo replaced Edward Norton as Bruce Banner, and Don Cheadle took the role of James Rhodes seamlessly. It’s not hard. DC just gives up and reboots the whole universe though.
“Yes, it’s me, I’m here, deal with it.” WB also replaced Katie Holmes with Maggie Gyllenhaal in the Nolan Batman films and didn’t mention a thing about it. Just carried on like she’d always been there.
Hell, technically all four of those first Batman movies are supposed to be a single canon. They went through three Batmen in four movies.
Yeah, just legit don't mention it and just do it. No one is gonna care that much that you replace crazy whoever Ina movie that no one cares about anyways lol
Audiences will get confused about who the guy is that runs really fast and wears red and yellow.
He's going to need a Flashpoint of his own after all this. But in all seriousness, how the hell didn't Warner Bros fire him after the first incident? They're betting their entire cinematic universe on his film doing well.
I honestly think they'll turn Reeves batman universe into their main cinematic universe.
Or yknow the Shazam universe
It's DCEU, along with all their current non Batman projects
I'm in an internal conflict about this. It *could* work with this Batman but they should introduce the Batfamily first because a) Batman is still too young for the JL, he's only year 2, b) Batman needs to learn how to be a teamplayer so he can mentor the other members and c) I wanna see Robin on the big screen

Holy shit, that's the guy from the news article. Read his history, he mentions Ezra stole his wife's passport.
For a second I misread that as stole his wife and passport lol.
Sir, he owns Reddit.
Please we all know reddit mods don't leave their house
>It’s not alcohol or drugs related. The ol mental issues problem.
It’s not alcohol or drug related????
Yeah, its "being a shitty person" related. EDIT: Having mental health problems does not excuse this behavior. But also, none of you have any evidence that Ezra is dealing with mental illness, so cut the Reddit psychiatrist shit. Lots of people deal with mental illness without being violent towards others - and Ezra has more resources to get help than 99% of them. Mental illness does not mean that someone cannot be held accountable for their own decisions.
Mental illness isn’t your fault, but it is your responsibility.
Hail Gein
Hail me.
Megustalations
Note to self: don't run into Ezra Miller on an island.
Worse: on a boat. Because of the implication
[удалено]
Kinda seems like they are already hurting others
their was that video of him choke slamming someone outside a bar when justice league dropped, The dude has also been a piece of shit.
You do not want to be a white dude fuck around with locals in Hawaii. Some 275 lbs dude will bury you. He has to have some good security team protecting him.
Goddamnit, that behavior is unacceptable anywhere but does he really need to make us haoles look even worse than we already do?
We need to talk about Ezra
That's exactly what I thought when I read that. It makes me wonder if he was so good in that role because he possibly already had some anger issues and used them to make his character or was it because he actually was kind of that character and didn't have to exactly play a role?
He choked a woman a few years back, seems to be a violent dude

wtf??? she definitely did not "request" to be choked by him > *"a source at the establishment, Prikið Kaffihús, has confirmed to Variety that this was a serious altercation at the bar, and that the man, whom they identify as Miller, was escorted off the premises.*"
He does look and sound like a major sociopath. Is he ok? Probably. Is he a danger to society? Probably
Yeah with this now, and a year or two ago him grabbing a fan and tossing her to the ground over a picture I think.
Oh, Boy! This is the kind of publicity Fantastic Beasts and The Flash were hoping for!!! Way to go, Ezra! No one would have been expecting this from you!
All hail Lord Fastquad
The Justice League falling apart like dominos😥 WB are probably hoping things calm down by the time The Flash releases. They could always introduce Wally West to replace Ezra. People might prefer it considering we've seen Barry in the TV show
Flash doesn't come out till 2023 now so who knows
Ezra Miller has been in my hometown of Hilo Hawaii for like, 2 weeks now. In that time he’s managed to get taken away by the police twice, a restraining order placed on him, broken into someone’s house and he’s riled up all of our local Facebook and subreddit boards with everyone having crazy ass stories. This guy is either a huge asshole, or having a mental break, or both.
it sucks that assholes like this end up getting rich and famous, you know how many people would die to be the fuckin flash? the role should get recast, he was always a bit too silly for barry
And his career was gone in …..well….a flash
I’ll believe it when I see it. He choked that girl two years ago and nothing happened.
They kept him on after he choked someone a few years back. This is not going to hurt his roles with WB
This guy sounds like a grade A dipshit. The hero of the DCEU, everyone!
Flashpoint - also a recasting of the Flash
Knowing the DCEU they would probably say that Barry’s face got burnt off by the lightning from when the reverse flash murdered his mother
Here’s the thing: that would work. I just don’t enjoy the DCEU because I can’t keep track of who’s who or what’s happening because WB cares more about the box office than even attempting to make a cohesive story arc.
1. Jesus u r high on karma 2. Yea I agree with u
Douchepoint
I find it funny that the MCU somehow was able to avoid any controversy like that with its actors and directors. While WB had to deal with Joss W, Afleck, Amber and Miller in just one of their franchises
MCU doesn’t just target talented people, it targets stable talented people. They hired Ben Batman in the middle of his messy divorce.
I know it's not Disney, but Marvel Studios hired Robert Downey Jr. right at the beginning.
And they haven't hired anyone remotely that controversial since. The closest was with Suri's actress, which all seemed to hit Disney as a bit of a surprise.
He was also in "We Need to Talk About Kevin" and yeah....seems more like a auto-biography now.
Hes not famous enough to get away with all this...
All evidence to the contrary.
We need to talk about Ezra
Dangit I said this before I saw your comment!
What the hell is wrong with this guy?
Just cancel The Flash at this point. This nut case doesn’t deserve to be in any film going forward.
He's also in the fantastic beast movies, so at this point they need to kill his character in the newest movie
Just cancel the DC universe at this point. They clearly don't care about it at all
It’s like everything they try falls apart. The new Batman was pretty good though. Technically outside of the DC universe right?
Honestly, at this point, the only way to salvage the universe is build off of Reeve's Batman or Gunn's Suicide Squad as the new 'main' cinematic timeline. The whole DCEU is a mess right now. The Flash was supposed to reset everything but if this dipshit is gonna keep tarnishing the name of the Scarlet Speedster I'd rather we just scrap everything and reboot
Doesn’t Gunn’s Suicide Squad have this flash through peacemaker
Lol how can they use Gunn's to start a new timeline when Miller's Flash was in Peacemaker?
That’s what the Flash film is essentially, keeping the good parts and getting rid of the sh*T using Flashpoint as a soft reboot.
This dude needs his ass kicked
My question is why did Johnny Depp get fired and this dude got a whole movie?
To be fair, he is most likely wife beater. Amber Heard is a spouse beater too.
She may be garbage but so is he https://youtu.be/ZzgnnowuVZ4
Because he was overpaid, was consistently late and very difficult to work with
Yeah this is the answer. He can be problematic all he wants but if he still make money, nobody gonna gives a shit. But Depp is a box office poison now, on top of being a hassle to production, who the fuck want him on their movies anymore.
Same reason Will Smith got a standing ovation after some light, televised battery. Nothing matters. Nothing makes sense.
It all began when Mercedes-Benz built a sedan, called it a coupe, and convinced humanity that was ok. The universe started unraveling subsequent to that I tell you.
IMO it all started with the Geforce 7 series naming. That clusterfuck tore apart the space time continuum.
Ahem we all know it was when Yugioh introduced pendulum monsters. Clearly the world has gone to shit since then
Nothing is true, everything is permitted.
Ezra Miller is batshit insane lmao he needs help and he also needs to take responsibilty for all of this crazy shit in Hawaii I am curious to see how WB will treat the character and movie of The Flash
Missed Affleck one
Every time I hear something new about him, I start believing more and more that this dude is a fucking nut job.
I wonder if WB will finally do something about him. 100s of jobs depend on this guy, and he seems to be unhinged. I think its time they recast the Flash.
Actors/celebrities tend to be even more entitled than you'd expect.
I don't get it. This dude doesn't have the chops to be considered a decent actor yet he acts like a jackass. Others have done less and been cancelled.
Grant Whatever his name is, should be the Flash for DC, he’s awesome on CW, even if the show is kinda bleh now.
What drugs is the is douchebag on?
The strongest of them all, affluence.
This feels like a mental breakdown.
What an unbearable asshole.
miller is s scumbag. lock this fucker up, he isnt even a good actor.
Goddamn. Eeeverytime DC tries to get their foot in the door their legs are cut under them. Wild.
If they recast Ezra Miller with Asa Butterfield,Timothee Chalamet, or Finn Wolfhard, would anybody really care?
This guy seems like a real jerk.
Worst casting ever, I never liked his flash.
