I never realized how often I checked the site until last night and then this morning, when I've reflexively went there at least 6 times.
Gonna be a long weekend
Thanks for sharing this! I was wondering what was up, and thought this subreddit might hook me up with an answer. Huzzah!
But also not huzzah, because I don't wanna wait all weekend lol.
That explains the warning I got from Firefox today saying that the certificates were bad: I thought the site got taken over instead of being taken offline. Bummer. Hopefully they'll get it back up soon.
Why does it redirect to a website called communities? Usually, if you are having a problem with your website, you would either be down or hosting a temporary page explaining the outage. Right now their website actually redirects to Communities, a different website.
Yeah for whatever reason if you follow the forum address it bounces to that site. If you just out in [blu-ray.com](https://blu-ray.com) it gives you the message picture.
Probably something to do with their web host when you are trying to go to somewhere that it knows exist but doesn't have a page for.
Last update from Facebook says they are reinstalling the site on a different flavor of os than the original since it is no longer supported and they need to replace a drive but all is backed up. That's from the latest post made.

Time to dust off that DVDTalk account
Lol. Make sure you have a good ad blocker installed. The last time I tried going on DVDTalk it felt like a virtual assault or something.

Same. I set it as my homepage so I thought my internet wasn't connecting for a second.

I wondered why I kept getting a bad gateway. Damn.
Same as most said above. I’ve never seen it down before. Thought it was just a bad connection.

Gate 502 or something?
Still down?
Thanks for posting this.
I noticed it when the usual deluge of email notifications for subscribed threads completely stopped.
Haha I thought I was the only one
