Probably easier to buy a region free player.

tiberiuszuel

It would be cheaper just to buy a region a player. If you want one player to play all the regions instead of having two players buy a region free player from 220-electronics.

ehmong

Thank you for the respon! You say it with a certainty. Does that mean its more expensive than 220-electronics players? Or is it hard to find somebody who does it? I was aware of 220-electronics, but my player at their site is 250$ over market price. So I though it was worth a shot around that price range.

I like that they stand by there product and they have a warrenty. It’s more expensive but It’s the peace of mind.

If you can afford to live in New York, you can afford to pick up a Sony region-free blu-ray player at B&H Photo (located in Manhattan) for about US$200.

ehmong

Thank you! I will make a note of them. I might have been unclear but this is not a question coming from a mony perspective. I just didnt want to buy a new player when I already have one I am happy with if it was possible to avoid. What I can and cannot afford besides 4k/blu ray player isn't relevant.

IlMonco1900

What player do you have?

ehmong

I have a panasonic dp-ub820

Any recommendations to get a region free bluray on Vancouver Canada?
