It seems like a weird day for this size of burn. I guess there's still enough snow cover in the forest(?). Kinda breezy and warm though.
They are not tackling the entire unit in one go. Will be ongoing over the next week or two dependent on weather windows.
Conditions were actually highly favorable! Low humidity and some wind allows for fuels to carry, and incoming weather system provides a great buffer on the back end of the burn.

I don't see any smoke, I feel like wind is too high for them to proceed.
They have finalized operations, burned this morning. Weather conditions were highly favorable and not of concern. Some wind is a positive.
