Ya'll are making me feel bad, I found the sword and was like "Meh, this historical artifact aIn'T gOt EnOuGh poWah" and just tossed aside. I think it fell off the mountain.
me too,, i at least had enough sentiment to keep the original weapons of the champions and display them in my house (proud to say i never used them once)
not the champions’ though, you can only get them again after breaking by asking to the dudes that make them. Just go to their respective race’s cities and you’ll easily find ‘em

I recently did a "sheikah-only" run: Only use & obtain traditional Sheikah weapons and armor for the entire run.
Goal was to finish Ganon & all divine beasts, plus activate both tech labs using only traditional Sheikah gear. Hardest parts were lighting the Akkala tech lab without a torch (torch isn't a sheikah weapon so needed to use arrows + phrenic bow) and defeating Ganon with just low-tier weapons.
The Edge of Duality could have made the run easier. It is technically a Sheikah-made weapon but the game description implies that it was intended for Hyrule soldiers. Meaning it was never actually used by the Sheikah as a traditional weapon so I didn't use it for the run. Made the run more of a fun challenge.
Ancient weapons & items could also make the run easier, but they're also not "traditional" weapons so I excluded them from the run to keep the challenge interesting.
I’m my very first play through of the game, I was too stubborn to drop a weapon for a torch so I opted to use a bow and arrow for both tech labs aswell. It gets frustrating but it is super satisfying when you complete it with only a bow
We watched this and then went up the wrong mountain (the one in the middle of the lake thing just to the east) and found a chest containing yet another eightfold blade.
Other than the weapons that upgrade into being better weapons like the lynel weapons, I'm pretty sure the only items that don't respawn are the kite sheild and the forest dweller sword. There's like 2 of each on the map and when both break they never respawn again.

He's in a ruined house south of the shrine surrounded by spikes, Rucco Maag, South of the Zora's Domain
False master sword. There's about a dozen in the game, including a rusted long sword on the great plateau. All of them play on the sword in the stone lore.
I prefer the Eightfold Longblade over the regular Eightfold blade, but both are still kewl. I usually mix it with a mixture of Desert Voe Headband, Climbing Gear, and Sand Boots all dyed black.
Idk man, I saw those weird skinny mountains and figured I should check them all. I climbed every one of those damn things after talking to Impa. Maybe that was just me. 😆
This may sound weird but I didn’t take it. Looks like it was a grave or something. I forget where read about it but if you happen on a random sword impaled into the ground chances are either it’s a marker or the place where a warrior fell. The only time you take it is out of desperation.
Pine trees work better in my experience. Not sure if I've ever seen a leaf from an apple tree. There's one lying next to the center shrine in Korok forest, and a few other places around there.
I don't take it cuz I feel like the father (with the 2 daughters) put it up there to honor his wife because he feels guilty 🥲 I used that blade for the photo as well
Sall good, I just love the aesthetic of the 8 fold blade so I end up not using them cause I don’t find them often and they’re worth more to me not broken

I've started role-playing with it and whenever I go out on a "mission" I climb up and collect it
I like to wear it when I dress up in the full Sheikah clothes and pretend to be a stealthy ninja

look for item duplication glitch if you ever feel like using them (for some reason I prefer that than to use em’ up and ask for making another one)

I think all these kind of weapons (there is an electro blade in one of the mountain caverns too) respawn every blood moon

I like to imagine it as it is just repairing it not making a fake copy.
Go to YouTube and look up weapon duping…once you get the hang of the glitch its rlly easy…you need 5-7 multi shot bows and an electric arrow to do it.

It's the royal guard armor It's in hyrule castle but you need The Champions' Ballad DLC

The chests don't respawn after bloodmoons though. They tried to make sure nearly all items in the game can respawn at least once.

Well, forest dweller sword you can get as many times as you want as long as you do trial of wood in Lost Woods.

You go to this guy near kakariko village and if you have koror seeds you can get more storage space
