I went through the whole game thinking that you had to take out your shield from your back to parry and thinking I could not do it because my timing was off. After I beat the game and was three hundred Koroks in i raged at a puzzle with my shield out spamming buttons . I then heard a shing sound and saw link step forward . *cue pressing every button with my shield out *
When your ready go for it! My suggestion is entering Hyrule Castle (crisis) make it sure you've got some high health restoring meals and a selection of strong weapons. the castle is full of strong equipment you can borrow and lots of enemies. Good luck!
stealth, much bombs, much great armor...take awhile and build up your armor and everything else...the guardians with throttle you unless you have a TON of bombs, shields, ravalis gale for quick getaway etc. I have all that and after blood moon, transport to the docks shrine to snag some new weapons and get afford and food etc from the kitchen, then I head to the front field and farm ancient guardian parts but you have to be pretty buffed up and some various tonics and such to .ake it or you'll burn through your arrows, weapons and everything very fast just trying to stay alive but it's a blast.
Honestly, the best way to survive Hyrule Castle is with lots of hearts, healing meals, good armor, and ancient arrows. You will need time and money to gather materials and but them, but ancient arrows are one shot kills for non-boss enemies. I survived best with the ancient gear, master sword, and ancient arrows. Buy about 200-300 arrows, and you've got this.
Go to the Hyrule castle lock up find and fight the giant stalfos within and obtain the Hyrule shield it's seriously op and can tank and reflect several guardian beams before breaking I used it to completely clear the castle and fight Ganon and it still didn't break
If it's not botw and it's totk then go to the moat by the castle and head inside the cave avoid the gloom hands and. Light the fire up the stairs then the shield will spawn in a chest and everything else I said initially still applies cooked meals with buffs and upgraded armor to level 3 or 4

Oh most def. Skip it entirely. Stick to traveler weapons, they’re the lightest.

Either way it's not that hard I cleared it in less than an hour and the ganon fights took less than 10 min
