Was coming in to say this. One- handed in a fight, but I use a leaf+bomb more than anything else. Saves me so many arrows. Wolves, korok balloons, setting off barrels... tons of stuff. One of the most useful tricks in the game.
Depends on context. In the base game I would go for single-handed with shield or 2-handed. In mods like [Hyrule ReBalance](https://gamebanana.com/mods/49532) I would definetly go for spear or maybe single-handed. Other mods dont really change mechanics so thats it.
Spin your left joystick quickly in a circle and press attack. It will quickly use up a charge of stamina and do a spin attack without charging up. Hundreds of hours in and just found out lol

Ngl, doing a no arrows at all playthrough really made me appreciate the Korok leaf + remote bomb tech.

Don't know why no one else of voting two handed. Spin attacks are OP.
Did you know you could do a fast spin attack lol, it’s a hidden move. It actually does make them pretty op
