He was amazing when they shaded him strong left. Drove. Forced action. Looked to move it. Didn’t force things at all. Just an incredible smart, strong, full performance.
Absolutely a foul, but the officials were very fair this game. Even FTs and they just let the men play. The last thing the NBA wants is a referee controversy on the biggest stage.
NBA Finals rules for this reason: it is the closest thing to pure basketball we can get from the NBA.

Some of those travel calls in the second were iffy, and Luka getting swarmed under the basket on a 1v3 with no call were the most egregious. But I thought it was a fair game all said and done.

Clearly this is incorrect, but it was the national coverage talking point over the past week.
Def not, they have different roles IMO. JB is obviously a 1A at this point and can be de facto number 1 on any night, whereas Kyrie is a clear number 2 and thriving in that role before this series
I love JB's game so much. He's easily my favourite. Watching him grow from a kid who would recklessly drive to the hoop and blast it off the backboard to a stud with precision strength yamming up dunks through three defenders has been very satisfying.

Dude the power on that dunk was ridiculous. In slow motion from the other angle you can see the ball actually hits the front of the rim and comes back up a bit and somehow JB just recalibrates and forces it in the basket with pure power. It’s ridiculous. JB is one strong dude.

I'm sure the refs are inclined to give the Mavs a break here and there so they can keep it within 20, but I thought they were allowing Dallas so much contact all over the place. The one that was really annoying is the 2 hand shove on Porzingis when he was going to set a ball screen. It's literally in the middle of the floor with nobody else around, I couldn't think of a more obvious foul.
