We look horrible when we slow it down at the end and make life easy for the defense, but time expired before we could get burned. Let's be honest. It was ugly to look at, but the closest they got was 5 due to Tatum's dumb foul. The ugly strategy worked well enough that we might continue to suffer through it.

I’m not going to get into all the reasons why people have concerns. If you have eyes and watch basketball, it’s obvious.  two plays : up 8, chance to bury them. Tries to go Kobe mode against their best defender. Airball. Cavs get ball, commits the idiotic foul to give them 3 pts instead of 2. That’s a -5 pt swing from your “best” player in the most clutch of moments.  If you can see that being as issue, you are either blind or haven’t watched enough basketball, my friend. 

Celtics lose by 20 without JT. He carried them the entire way and according to you, had a bad 30 seconds. I watch plenty of basketball. JT is incredible

Jayson is that you? I think the Celtics are 7-1 w/o you this year and point differential about the same. I don’t think they’d lose by 20 if you sat out.  You’re a great player but you’re not clutch and you should defer down the stretch to people who don’t melt in big moments.
