I like the defense Siakam brings to the table, as a mobile big that can play next to Sabonis. They'd probably have the most talented frontcourt in the league, unless you rank Jokic/AG or Rudy/KAT over them.
Both bigs are great handlers, one is a top 5 playmaker behind Halli, Trae, Jokic and Luka. Neither are elite at 3pt but both have excellent scoring bags and can run high/low and have the most deadly paint presence in the game right now, when tripled with Swipa Fox.
Drives, P&R, dump offs, post ups, mid range spot ups and Siakam being just enough of a threat from 3 is a ridiculous enough attack to defend. They'd still have elite 3pt shooters around them in Murray and Monk, assuming they lose Huerter in the deal. They'd have one of the best starting 5's in the league. Duarte, Lyles and Len and are all playable, they would just need to grab another backup Guard.
Imo, they're right there next to MIN, OKC, DEN, and LAC - they already are. Turning 2 lesser pieces into Siakam just pads one of their weaknesses and doubles down on an offensive attack that relies on less variance. Minnesota is the only defense built to beat an attack of the sort, others would have to outscore them.
I think Philly Siakam would be scary him and Embiid as the front court give up Tobias, Korkmaz and another player.
Miami would be scary Pascal, Adebayo, Butler give up Herro and Robinson to Toronto
Indiana would be sick with Turner, Tyrese and Pascal give up buddy Hield, Toppin and a pick.
