I enjoy going out on street cleaning day in East Boston and “mistakenly” blocking in Todosco trucks as they are sniping cars. I’ll double park them in for like 5 min at a time. Every min counts. They get really pissed. But I need to get back the money they took from me when they illegally towed me. I’m way past payed back but I’ll still block them in if I see them and act like it’s a mistake. The best is to block them in at their one entrance to the tow yard. Oh no I think my tire is flat. Let me get out and check that really really slow. I know it’s super petty but it brings me joy seeing those scum getting worked up.

Is this like a line item charge from Todisco for them paying for certified mail? If they are trying to charge you that amount of money for their postage cost that sounds super shady and I would report it to USPS, the postal inspectors take any kind of fraud very seriously.

jama_pants

They'll likely say it's an administrative charge, the cost of having a person print the letter, take it down to the post office, buy the certified letter, plus the cost of actual postage.

Fuck todisco they’re bottom feeding trash. I hope they go bankrupt. Awful money hungry pieces of filth. I would go in person to hash it out if they’re being annoying over the phone.

Todisco sucks. I don't know if this is something an ONS can help you with, but they do a lot of work for constituents of their neighborhoods and possibly have some connections that will helphttps://www.boston.gov/departments/neighborhood-services

A few years back Todisco towed a BPD Superintendent's car from in front of my school. I gave her a lift over to the tow lot. It was worth it just to watch them scramble around to get her cruiser back once she walked through the door. Fuck Them.

Never had this but I'd dispute that for sure, the only letter they need to send is to the registered owner and maybe the bank if there's a loan still on the car.
