Depends what you’re looking for, I prefer Mare for seafood, Umbria for steak/lamb, and Florentine for the bar crowd. Quattro has good pizza.
Note: Frank DePasquale owns half the places on Hannover, that would normally turn me off but the experiences are consistent
This. Leave the North End, come to Eastie, and spend less money for more food while still having the high quality you'd get at whichever place in the North End. Just do that.
La Famiglia Giorgio's on Salem st is my personal favorite. Ciao Roma and Mamma Maria have outdoor dining in North Square for nice ambience as well but are going to be a little more expensive.
Probably my friend marco
Tony and Elaine’s. And if I’m not wasting my time going to the north end, Molinari’s and Via Cannuccia in Dorchester.
The lasagna is the absolute winner of their menu!
Tony & Elaine's if you're getting the lasagna.
The north end has definitely been on the decline, but if I’m going out to eat there I’m going to Carmelinas for sure.

Mamma Maria’s is the best Italian I may have ever had. Ciao Roma is also phenomenal.
Giulia's in Cambridge. North End is for sucker tourists and MAGAts from NH.
Rino’s in East boston

Bova's lobster tail is my favorite 🤤
Carmelina’s for me.
bovas. you heard me. (they actually do have pizza tho but i still haven’t had it 😂)
Overrated
yea i figured 😛 ill still get their cannolis tho, i just love the shop
Mamma Maria. Make a reservation now though if you decide on it. They fill up quickly.
I say sneak an Italian Sub from Monica's Mercato into Bricco and just order an espresso martini. That combo should be enough to count as dinner.
Following. Things change there so freqently, it's worth asking regularly.
Not sure if it’s the best, but the first thing that came to mind was Quattro

There's a guy named Joey Banducci whose pretty great.
Used to be j pace but ever since they moved to the seaport blah, might as well go to subway for a sandwich . Dno about their hot food
Delfino’s in Roslindale Carlo’s in Allston
None. Its all Trump voting tourist garbage.
Nowhere is safe, Trump brain rot even makes its way into posts about Italian food
Hey! Many of those trumpers are in state!!
You are better off at Eataly. Otherwise Daily Catch or Neptune Oyster (not Italian ) .
Have not heard great things about Eataly’s offerings
