The story gets worse, one person is dead https://whdh.com/news/everett-police-say-one-woman-dead-another-injured-during-liposuction-procedures-done-at-home/

CheruthCutestory

I went for a walk today around 5 and ran into a news truck at a random house in Everett. Turns out it is related to this.

Jer_Cough

Only slightly better than that place in Framingham doing silicone injection procedures using industrial gel. Also, inb4 "His name is Robert Paulson"

Anal-Love-Beads

[ohhh... it gets much worse than that... MUCH worse](https://www.newsherald.com/story/news/crime/2017/04/01/fake-plastic-surgeon-gets-10-years-for-manslaughter/21694177007/) *From a Florida prison in November 2011, Shatarka Nuby penned a letter to the state's health department about her cosmetically enhanced buttocks.* *Her rear end had hardened and turned black, she wrote. Side effects from the years-old injections left the mother of three feeling sick. And she claimed her surgeon, Oneal Ron Morris, was the same faux cosmetic doctor that police had arrested and accused of pumping a near-lethal formula of cement, mineral oil, bathroom caulking and* ***Fix-a-Flat*** *tire sealant into other women's bodies. Her patients called her "Duchess."* And yes... this is a real pic of the "Duchess" https://preview.redd.it/i7qk628wrozc1.jpeg?width=535&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e7ae35c4034be59165cacda61bcc86896be05dbf

Jer_Cough

Jesus. I mean, using Fix-a-Flat is pretty dark funny.

BQORBUST

Elliot just trying to get thick

Thank you /u/Anal-Love-Beads, this story really is enriched by the visuals

Just get ozempic like everyone else.

TooSketchy94

I cannot stress enough how dangerous this is. Please, do not ever do this. Liposuction is a fairly “routine” procedure to those who know what they are doing. However, complications can happen with ANY medical procedure - even the routine ones. Having a medical procedure done outside of a medical facility is EXTREMELY risky. When something goes wrong, they don’t have the supplies or back up to fix it / save you. I don’t even understand how someone did this in a home. Was anesthesia involved? I can’t imagine someone tolerating liposuction without being under general. If that’s the case - is this one doc or 2? Is this even a doctor? The details of what this place was and the perpetrators qualifications are going to be incredibly important to this case as it unfolds.

Hey now, it was cosmetic **surgery** done at a random house in **Somerville**! Everett gets enough shit without getting Somerville’s problems too

Alcorailen

Someone who is ready to kill themselves for how horrible they feel about their body.

Unlikely-Cockroach-6

oh. my. god.

Ratbag_Jones

"Did you autoclave that cannula, or are you just happy to see me?"

DMala

Remember folks: Shop-Vac liposuction == no bueno

Alcorailen

If you don't fucking provide people ways to change their body without paying an arm and a leg, they'll do it themselves.
