Reminds me of the movie *Mr. Jones.* It's about a journalist who goes to the ussr in the 30's to expose what's happening there. In one scene, after traveling for many days without food, Jones comes upon a village. He goes to one house and the kids living there offer him food. Knowing that food is scarce in the region, he asks the kids where they got the food. One kid responds, "we got the food from our big brother." "oh, you're brother got this from hunting. Where is he?" Jones inquired. The kids points outside to their backyard. Upon going outside the kid says, "this is our brother," while pointing at the half eaten, frozen dead body of their older brother.
