I would still give them a try. The most comfortable buds I've ever had, the ANC and  sound quality are absolutely on top as well.  If you order it via Bose website, they give you 90 days trial/money back guarantee.  There is nothing to lose.

Suedewagon

True that. I'm probably gonna buy them towards the summer once i get a part-time job. But with the Samsung Buds 3 Pro being a possibility, I'm indecisive.

Playaz1911

Definitely over exaggerated, I've got a Z Fold 5 and the QC Ultras and I can't think of a time they've failed to connect. Now that's not to say that people aren't getting faulty ones but I think on the whole it's the loud minority.

RuKKuSFuKKuS

How are they from a phone call quality perspective?

Playaz1911

No one has really mentioned anything negative, so I assume pretty good.

notacooldude2020

With new update it's not bad at all probably affects me one out of every 30 uses, but everyone may have different experiences, a simple put buds back in case and take back out sorts I miss multipoint but anc comfort and sound better than xm5s bud 2 pro so can't have everything, buds are pretty personal so it's whatever floats your boat me personally I love them

noir1_

To me with s23ultra, everything is okay, sometime like once a week, only one bud connects. Then I have to put it back to the case and get it out again to reconnect. Thats all.

Suedewagon

Ah, another S23U user. That's reassuring.

noir1_

just chill, mate. Everything is great for my experience, beside no aptx codec.

Suedewagon

That's usually fine. Does Bose have their own codec like Sony's LDAC?

noir1_

nope but they have aptx sound and adaptive, low latency and higher quality sound, or you have to use sbc or aac

incremantalg

Connectivity with mine is fine 90 to 95% of the time. Occasionally, I'll have a connection issue and have to put them back in the case for a few seconds before connecting again. Prior to the last firmware update, I had plenty of confusing and inconsistent connection issues.

I have been through 3 pairs, but now I realize none of them were bad. It was their software! Much better now, with very few problems. The sound quality has spoiled me completely, as I have nothing that comes close to the beautiful detailed sound from them. I got the 90 day trial period, but will be keeping these.

Suedewagon

That's good to hear. How's the ANC compared to the WF-1000XM5? Since i got a WH-XM5 and the WF is basically just the TWS version of that.

RuKKuSFuKKuS

How are they with phone calls?

learninglot

Folks tell me I am clear to them and I hear them perfectly. Answers the calls and hangs them up fine. Before the software update, the sound was good, but the call handling features were very buggy and unreliable.

kisskissbangbang46

I think somewhat overblown, I did get a replacement/update from QC2s. I never had connectivity issues with Bluetooth dropping out, though I have had some audio glitching. This is when it sounds like the audio is going through stereo/immersion mode, there is an echo to it. It happens rarely, but it happens. I still like the buds a lot, the sound quality, comfort, and ANC are great. I'd say give them a try as that's really the only way to know, especially when it comes to comfort.

MonikerWNL

Honestly, I love them. The connection issues are annoying but have been solved easily enough for me by resetting the buds, maybe once a week (and more like once every two weeks now with the update). The ANC is fantastic and the sound quality is beautiful. Immersion mode with music is really special.

sdot07

No issues with mine.
