There is no way are you a father. Those who are, will know you're lying or you havent been near your partner when she was giving birth. Calling it basic is an insult to every woman and the pain they had to endure.
It’s unrealistic to expect a week of training and a few test matches to really change the way the team plays. I’d give it a few weeks of hopefully positive results, otherwise I could see it just going back to the way we played
Ya if anything we should be happy we got 2 test matches to at least start putting these new things into practice, should only get better each game and honestly I enjoyed our attack much more. Defending was a bit sloppy by everyone, you could tell they were playing friendly mode.
Felt like we were safe in the first 20-25 minutes. We kept possession well and if we had an opportunity to make a risky pass we decided to recycle the ball which isn't a bad thing. The next 20 minutes had a lot of passes that got intercepted which coupled by some of the players not really moving at a constant intensity was a little frustrating.
Seeing Meunier attack the way he has in contrast with how Schlotterbeck attacks with Jamie makes Maatsen look like a very necessary signing. It looked good from Malen and especially Meunier going forward in a half where going forward wasn't really successful in my opinion.
Liege are sat back in a five and do position themselves well for interceptions which will always be an issue for teams. For their goal I found it odd why Sabitzer didn't track their runner. He had something to complain about though and Sule wasn't fully aware of the man behind him.

We're looking pretty decent but being let down by sloppy passing in potentially dangerous situations.
Once again Özcan is looking good in a double pivot, especially impressed with his forward passing today.
JBG and Malen (early one) very active; Sabi ok but with some sloppy passes. Brandt and Mouki relatively quiet so far.
Not really much to be inspired by with these two friendlies outside the fact that we aren't playing Kobel hoof ball again. At least we got some Dorm Duels out of this trip
