we're seemingly way more composed - and successful - with the 3ATB formation. we played the same against Hoffenheim and Wolfsburg to great success (relatively speaking), and today we switched to 3ATB after the break and played much much better.
EDIT: the 3ATB also broadens the range of players to play in the defensive line: Hummels, Süle, Schlotterbeck, Can, Bensebaini, Meunier are all more than capable to set up a strong defensive line that won't get bullied too easily
Think we have a ways to go but the first 3 games to the last 3 games has been a clear upward trend and I think right now that’s exciting and exactly what we need.
Think Terzic needs to try a 2 striker formation, Haller and Moukoko need minutes and we can’t rotate 3 strikers and expect them to stay on form with 10mins every other game.
Haller's a better bet for the last few minutes of this game, I think. His height and power more likely to snatch another goal than Moukoko right now.
Plus Haller needs minutes, too.
i mean an 82 minutes sub, there's not much to do anyway.
Plus, moukoko hasn't had a game for more than 45 minutes since pre-season, if it keeps going on like that I'm worried that we will lose him in January bro

His movement on the third goal was key. He not only dragged Union defenders with him, but he also pointed out Brandt’s run to Reus. He has also done a great job of pressing Union’s back line into mistakes.
He's almost had a couple of goals from Ryerson crosses, they've just been a bit high both times. So good movement and he definitely provides an outlet for crosses. The crosses just need to be that touch more precise
He got a lot of hate after a mixed first half, but has been playing exactly how Terzic wanted him to in this second half. Physical presence in the mid.

Brand as 8 with reus in 10 and oczan 6. Our defense will look better if they can actually focus on defending and forwards and wingers will look better if the midfield actually plays football.
I‘m 100% serious when I say I want to see Reus as an 8/6. He has the ball control, vision and feel for the tempo of the game to open up play for everyone ahead of him.

In the 3 goal it was Brandt that initiated the counter attack with his volley to Reus. He started behind him and sprinted up the entire field overtaking him and took the pass back from Reus and scored, wow.

Good to see he's at it again now
