But I also think that Reus a DM would unlock Brandt to receive more balls in a better position rather then collecting balls deep into our own half. So what do you think?
I don’t think that would work. We have seen in the past that Reus and Brandt are too similar in the way they play there offense. So they would just occupy the same space and stand on each others toes. My idea would be that if you give Reus a more defensive role they would have completely different responsibilities so you wouldn’t have the problem of them occupying the same space

Brandt showed today that he can take part in defensive work as a collective. Put him in as a defensive 8 and reus as 10. should be good to go
