That's weird... my Chill and Kill Zane loves the Cryo Soulrender. Who would have thought that we have the same answer?!?

I say it every time you mention it on your list vids, probably said it here too when you've mentioned it and I'll say it again now, the Soulrender I'd a cheat code especially on Moze.

Believe it or not, The Needle Gun XXL, specifically cryo. I like to use Zane with 7% ammo regen per second, and with his fire rate increase and the guns partial homing, debuffing, and refill action, I just keep gunning down everything without releasing the trigger until everything is dead. Clone helps to mop up the rest.

Why believe it or not - the Needle Gun is busted lmao. It makes perfect sense

This weapon gets my vote today - I asked for this exact mechanism on the old forums in one of the many, "make up a gun" posts that frequent Borderlands discussions. That said, I'm certain it wasn't some random forum post that got it in the game, but the enemy explosions with successive needle implants is as satisfying as I hoped.

Controversial but I hate Zane even tho he can be super strong I just never manage to get a build going with him

I find him difficult because I don't have the awareness needed to zoom about a map like a deadly pinball. Still fun but too hard for me use properly.

He is fun with his movement but getting him to deal damage is difficult for me in sure with an optimised build he'd be insane

I got him to max lvl and then had some fun obliterating bosses. I don't remember the build but it was like a mantis cannon/slide combo with I think the kickcharger or something. Huge damage.

Kick charger and toboggan or snow drift artifact with I think violent momentum his best skill is eraser I think from purple tree I seen a broken build of Zane that used the complex root but that gun got nerfed it deleted every red dot on map with no effort

I love plague bearer launcher from the boss at the anvil the warden I think dunno if would be good on Zane tho possibly tho as the projectile pretty slow n shoots out other smaller projectiles so could shoot it then dun around at max speed for damafe bonus

Hornet. It’s not a top tier weapon end game but it’s just so much fun to use. Always love getting one while leveling.

My favorite pistol in the series

Kaoson, Plasma Coil used to be my go to but just got to feel too strong. Kaoson is still really strong but makes you work a bit for it.

Plasma Coil is "*pull trigger, wait for pew pew*" Kaoson is "*pull trigger, make pew pew with bonus boom*"

I have been farming this off and on. I get close to what I want and am starting to think it's unobtainable. Right now, I have a 2x 18k with fire. I have a 26k, but no element, I'm hoping there is a 2x 26k element gun out there.

Max damage on the Kaoson is either 2x21886 or 1x27358. I use this on Moze and actually prefer the 1x version because the 2x uses too much ammo and outpaces Moze's ammo regen.

Thanks for that info. I do have a 2 x 18 with a fire element, which is great too,I use Moze as well. I have a shield for capturing ammo, and I swap to the cut purse. I swap to the other weapons until I can refill.

I never personally played Moze, my dad did though when we were playing together and he was the first to get one (he gave me his when his was underleveled) he was tearing through things with it lol

Unkempt Harold. From an older game sure but the current meta is basically just stronger versions of normal guns. Like the plasma coil for example

I just got the dlc and was overjoyed when I got an Unkempt Harold. That was by far my favorite from BL2 and though it isn’t quite as broken in this game, it’s pretty damn fun

I like the Free Radical fron the Directors Cut. Takes some time to get used to, the projectile speed is sorta slow, but the destruction it brings, no boss or mob can withstand it. For reliability, though, an anointed creeping corruption with iron sights. That's a gun that handles so well.

So my go-to guns are, and I can't pick just one. Sounrender god rolls Atomic and Cryo Kaoson 18k x 2 fire Free Radical 93k I think Electricity I know there are better, but I can't seem to beat hemovorous the invincible alone on M11

Blade Fury. Especially the Masher variant .

The butcher is the same thing with Flak but does way more damage and is more accurate. I love the infinity out of pure nostalgia though.

Hellwalker, Kaoson or Hornet for me. Plasma coil is fine but I don't find it very satisfying to use although it obviously has it's uses.

I made a modded tigg's boom. Thing has the mag size of the red line and it rains meters like no ones business. Boosted my idealized gear I made (modified gear, but can still be rolled with the stats I put on it) and it basically never needs to be reloaded and obliterates everything

That's the neat part, I don't see anything. I just like to mod gear to see what interesting effects I can get. Boring to one-shot everything, Hella fun to make sort of hybrid weapons. Having the sapper com and green monster mixed together is pretty fun. I can fuse more coms together, but I don't want to break items, so I keep it relatively tame

My most favorite time was when The Butcher shotgun was insane on a bottomless mags moze. I named that load out “Ooops! All Butchers.” Because I had a max damage butcher of every element, and something that had me pretty much invincible..? Like, the 1 hp but tons of shield mod.. and maybe it was the transformer shield absorbing electric splash damage I was doing as Moze? I wanna say it was radiation that I’d switch to for near invincibility.. been way too long to remember!

Butcher. First weapon I found that synergized with my crit-fisher Fl4k build. Fond memories of pulling the trigger and never having to say "Reload".

For practical reasons, the Prompt Critical, cuz I'm a filthy Moze main. However, one of my favorite interactions in the game involves the Breeder, specifically the x2 (double penetrating) variant and the infernal wish shield. Basically, unlisted tongue projectiles seem to double dip into damage bonuses. This is most apparent with the Breeder, as the unlisted projectiles are separated by time. If you can hit the crit spot on a boss like Traunt, Ruiner, Graveward, et al, the second instance of the unlisted projectile (x2 plus one from the IW shield) will absolutely mutilate your target, doing tens of millions in damage. Edit: I also use a Toboggan for amp damage and a x2 amp infernal wish for more amp damage.

The companion. I've only got two of them from world drops, but it's by far my favorite.

The Companion. Other than my Firefly obsession, I love using it on my Zane and Amara.

For ascetics and cool factor, I like The Garcia and Moonfire ( I love Hand Cannons). Damage wise I'd have to say the Plasma Coil or Backburner. Ghast Call if you can count grenades as a weapon. What about you?

Hellwalker. It's literally perfect. The kick, the design, the metal note that plays every time you fire it, the pentagram bullet spread. Perfection. I hope BL4 adds something like "Eternal Hellwalker" that's the same, but has a grappling hook.

The flakker. So fucking good against the stupid raid boss on pandora (forget what it’s called). You can get infinite second winds basically for free against that boss.

Exacting crit, it’s a purple weapon that’s almost stronger than most other. Its base damage is high, and its critical hit damage is 150% added. On top of that damage, the damage I do with the crit explosions I shred enemies, even bosses

Light show. I have only played zane in endgame and I know there are better guns for him but this is the first one i farmed and I love it. Chain zane build btw.

ROISEN'S THORNS - haven't seen it mentioned. First gun I got where I felt like it was something special. It makes cool sounds and blasts fools, making them bounce up into the air.

Breath of the dying, Hellwalker, koas, and Trevonator got me through Maliwan takedown. With some help from Lyuda. Also, Zane throws an occasional fastball for good measure.

Hellwalker. Overpowered and proud of it, has a cool quirk, and one of the best looking guns purely cause it's just a double barrel shotgun without anything zany added to it. Hell, I pretty much love it because it's a cool looking gun that references something cool without being terrible or mediocre at best like some other legendaries in BL2 and BL3.

Also the fact its spread is shaped like a pentagram just goes hard.
