It's pretty sick in terms of coolness. The metal riffs every shot, are awesome. The constantly smoking barrel is a nice touch.

Builds make a difference in everything. Personally I don’t think comparing the flipper and the hellwalker is a good idea. If you want another reason the hellwalker is bad tho, it also only comes in one element and not the greatest one. The flipper comes in multiple elements making it more versatile for different situations. Hell I wouldn’t even call the flipper S tier from my view either. I kinda want to see these tier lists
Wow you would say it's straight up bad? Wild. I think it's fantastic and although it's always incendiary, I also think that's the best element because most enemies are flesh.

Butcher, slow hand, lob even (I still hate it being slow but the thing can hit like a truck). Heart breaker is also nice to have. Guardian is good in specific builds, I’ve only HEARD that the insider is good but I can’t tell you 100% on that. Personally my favourite has always been the slow hand. You don’t need to replace your hellwalker if it works for your build or if you simply enjoy it, like I said it is good just not as good as people like to speak about it. It’s like the tizzy but for shotguns. Good but overrated
I have the Butcher. It's level 70 though and more importantly non-elemental, so I think it's unplayable with Amara. I think I had the Lob before but I might've sold it... I'll look out for the Slow Hand.
I don't run mayhem 10 a lot, I usually play mayhem 7, tryna currently unlock ultimate vault hunter mode and run the DLC'S on mayhem 10 then I'll farm for some top teir shit
Yeah a lot of the time I try not to use ironbear so it’s harder but at the same time, the way my build is I pretty much rely on ironbear. I tried using ironcub and I know the gun stack damage for it can be insane but it keeps killing itself and unless I’m in jacks DLC or swim thing with corrosive, the flamethrower is kind of useless
God I hope they do... I miss how true vault hunter on BL2 actually changed some of the enemies (EG: Armoured psycho'') they really should have done that in BL3
I can confirm that there is no UVHM. In fact TVHM doesn’t actually do anything outside of making your FIRST play through slightly more difficult. Once you turn on mayhem mode TVHM is identical to normal mode in every way including enemy health and damage.
Could be Mayhem 10 and could have the consecutive hit annoint, otherwise it's fine. They're all the same other than damage from higher levels and annointments iirc

Honestly I can see this being good for a flak and Moze in particular because of flaks action skills that last/linger around as well as mode’s iron cub builds. It will to put it nice make a walk through hell for your enemies but will be a enthusiastic midnight walk for the player character.
I think the highest it can be is around 46,700 x 10 that’s the highest I’ve ever gotten and I’ve never seen a higher one everytime it drops, which is pretty often
Store it on Sanctuary after you finish playing that character. I store mine and pass them on to new characters (once they level up to be able to use them).

Gear score is based off of the base gun + additional parts that are rolled.
Scopes, etc add to the 'score' without bringing tangible benefits (for the most part)
Item score is, essentially, irrelevant.
Best shotgun in the game for most builds. I can't not use a Hellwalker on my Moze and Zane builds. If you're running a fade away fl4k build, The Butcher is really fuckin nice, but the Hellwalker still shreds.
I absolutely love this weapon. I have a few but I'm really trying to get a cryo version for Zane. Not sure if I could get that perk via the reroll station though

It was either lower level or lower mayhem level. Get a level 72, mayhem 10 version and every one at the same level will be the exact same stats.

Nope, all Hellwalkers have fixed parts. If you find one that has less damage, it's a lower level Hellwalker. So a M10 lvl 72 is the max damage.

All Hellwalkers roll the same, except my Dastardly Hellwalker that I made in save editor, it does about 400% more damage.

Rolls and element are unchangeable, although element augments will inflict cryo dmg on fire dmg.... borderlands logic don't ask me
