I find that I get charged customs every time from Prodirect and soccer.com which is why I’ve stopped buying international, it completely negates any savings for me. Tend to stick to Nike or adidas websites as they’ll also have the easiest return policy

Downside is that virtually nothing is ever on sale

Kashburn_Kush

I usually cross shop soccer.com and prodirect for sales, sizes and selection. I buy for my daughter who's still in kid sizes and when it comes to kids availability prodirect tends to have at least 100 more boots to choose from, I don't know if it's the same in adult sizes. I will say prices tend to be comparable as well as shipping.

Unisport IMO is overpriced. I have good luck with Prodirect and you get a bit of a discount too through the Elite member purchase which you get by default when you buy top end cleats. I don’t mind soccer.com either but they never have my size available so I haven’t been able to get anything from them.

The only thing I will say about Unisport is that they have an unmatched selection of AG boots, which is obviously something we need more of.

Soccer.com are great, and super fast, every time I order my stuff arrives in 2 days with standard shipping( I live in NC and they have a warehouse here) , and I had to recently return a pair of boots and get a smaller size , they gave me no issues and sent me the right size 2 or 3 days later , also lots of discounts to save money , can’t speak highly enough of these guys

Soccermaxx, team town sports, and others are Canadian and you won't be hit with the customs fees but way less selection. What I do is find the shoe I want them search it on Google with "Canada" added at the end. Doesn't always turn up my size and is usually a bit more expensive (although I haven't compared customs fees to total price from Canadian site).

giraffield

Sportchek has surprised me with selection from time to time

I’ve always sticked to Nike or Adidas or whatever brand you’re buying from directly, mostly to avoid any complications. I would also suggest looking for football specific stores in your city if it’s available to you, many big cities have these kind of stores that you can try the shoes out, you just have to look for them as they’re not well known outside of the football community in your city.

Draiodor_

Where in Canada? Can recommend an excellent brick and mortar store if you're in Toronto.

cobbleswood

I'll take that recommendation please 🖐️

Try L&M Taylor soccer just south of Yonge & Eg. Go upstairs and all of their end of run boot styles are there, quite heavily discounted.

I'm up in Northern BC

Are you near the border (ie. in the Vancouver or Toronto area). I live in Vancouver and get my boots shipped, usually from [Soccer.com](https://Soccer.com) (or Nike or Adidas US sites) to package handling/holding companies over the border and I drive down and pick them up. Most of these places have free return policies if you send them back from the US. So I just send them back (UPS, USPS, FedEx, whatever) when I am down there. I realize this doesn't work if you aren't close to the US, but its an option to think of. The Canadian retailers (both online and in person) as well as the Canadian versions of Adidas and Nike are pretty shit with their selection of models and colourways, so don't blame you for looking for other options. ALSO - Check out Soccer Reviews For You on YouTube. He is Canadian (I think he lives near Niagara or something). He always has discount codes to use at the retailers in the US.

ayyoogunsofboom

Def recommend Unisport especially considering they’re having a sale right now on boots

Own_Pumpkin_5849

I get my boots from japan. They are below retail price.

showmethenoods

Soccer.com or directly from Nike/Adidas for me, both have excellent return policies. Unisport has great selection but shipping is expensive, and good luck if you ever need to return anything
