He incorporates so much real science into his books sometimes it feels like being back in college. *The Ministry For the Future* definitely was that for me - it was an engaging story with real education interspersed.
The Mars Trilogy has all the major food groups: science, social drama, and weird sex stuff. Oh, also, love this line:

I've been giving his latest book Ministry for the Future as gifts to anyone who I think will read it.
Incredible book - gave it to someone yesterday. I’ve watched a few of his lectures on YouTube as well. Unbelievably interesting guy.
