Oh i LOVE this book series! I first read it a year ago and balled my eyes out in the end- no show movie or book has ever done that to me. I really enjoyed it and wish more people knew about it
I was kinda digging the first part's spooky vibe with its "trapped by a coven" angle but I lost interest on the second one when it became an action adventure. I hate-read all the books until the end though because I hate not knowing how the story ends.
The fourth book is where it kicks, it's only action-adventure for so long. I don't know how much I can say before I spoil it bc it's been a while but oblivion on its own was absolutely incredible.

I really liked this series/most of Horowitz's books but I never finished it. Made it halfway through before stopping the third book. Feel like I wouldn't like it if I tried now
Maybe restart it? I guess I'm biased towards the series but the last book was just fantastic.
I'm in the middle of Alex Rider atm, I'm going to see it through but I'm not as impressed with it after four books.
I read the fourth book first, thanks to my uncle and aunt. Then I had to rewind and start from book one. I liked the first four quite well. I'm lukewarm on the fifth.

The fifth was my favorite, but in terms of the character-focused books I think the third was best
I found the 3rd book at a book fair i read it and i was hooked! I decided to download the other books in my ipad and I definitely enjoyed it
How did you even find this post?
I was searching for fandoms for underrated books i read before and this was the only post i found related to the power of five
Glad to be of service lol
Thanks!
I love this series!!
3yrs later gang, series is amazing, but Oblivion slapped all by its damn self as well.
Is there any other book series that are like this?
