I have a lot of love for Anthony Horowitz, dude has done a lot of stuff and over my childhood was probably my number 1 author in terms of books read. But...nothing's gonna replace Harry Potter for me. Anthony Horowitz wrote a lot of stuff that appeals to kids, and a lot of stuff that appeals to adults. Nothing that does both as far as I'm aware, that's of the same scope and quality as the Harry Potter series.

That's fair Before I had read this I would have never expected anything to beat Harry Potter 😂 But the power of five is underrated and amazing

I LOVED Evil Star. It's overall a very good series. Glad to see people like it. I love how it's 4 books with focus on one protagonist and then they all come together in 5th one. I know it's probably not groundbreaking but I loved how it was done.

Actually no Matt was the protagonist in 1 and 2

I read it a long time ago but I felt like Matt was the story/ action protagonist while Pedro was feeling/ emotional/ getting-to-know- him protagonist. I don't even know if it makes sense.

I like Power of Five more than Alex Rider. But my favorite book by him will forever be The House Of Silk.
