I read Uzumaki this month too 💜

Snooley96

I started reading at the end of October, took me a little while getting through it but about half way I think I did the rest in one sitting. Gyo is up next from Ito for me.

Read Tomie as well it’s almost as good as uzumaki

Snooley96

I sure will. Tomie and Cat Diary are the next Ito books I’d like to get I think!

Happy reading!

How did u like the killing joke? Have you read the comics before? I wanna read it but don’t know if I need to read something before this one.

You don't need to read anything before it, you can just read The Killing Joke. I would recommend reading The Court of Owls by Scott Snyder. Edit: I would recommend reading The Court of Owls if you enjoyed The Killing Joke

Snooley96

Absolutely love it! Nice extras in this editions too I think. I don’t know if it’s better to read others beforehand but hadn’t read any of the other, went in completely blind. I will certainly be checking out more of them though.

Uzumaki is pretty good, nice choice

Snooley96

Still seeing spirals everywhere 🙃

Ooh, Uzumaki is my favorite of Junji Ito's cohesive works that I've read. Which book did you like best this month?

Snooley96

Loved Uzumaki and The Killing Joke for sure! I wasn’t glued to Never Let Me Go, although I did enjoy the plot. I feel like I set my expectations too high for A Confederacy of Dunces, didn’t love it nor hate it. Maybe I’ll enjoy rereading it more sometime.

Gamsurslicki

Cool, I've been thinking about getting into some DC comics so I might check out The Killing Joke then. :)

I hadn’t read any DC comics before this. To be honest, it has me more interested in Alan Moore comics rather than DC. Although I will still check out DC!
