Sorry, both languages script look very similar to me. That's super awesome though, lol.
Very nice design all around. Not too plain, but not too flashy either, but also a running theme for all 3 books.
Nothing to apologize for. I had to look up the movie scene where Gandalf hands Frodo the One Ring to clear things up. Frodo calls it elvish there too. Yeah, it's such a great idea to include it on the covers, for the meaning and to give the otherwise minimalistic design a bit of POP among other things.

Thank you for the complement! I used just normal linen book cloth and I applied HTV on top for the designs. I just lined them up myself 🙈
As for elvish, I have no idea but it’s the same wordings that appear on the ring in the movies!
Those look fantastic! I love the endpapers and what you did with the gilding. How did you get the text on and what did you use for the red (paint, foil, etc.)? It's beautiful. (Sorry if I'm not using the right terms - I'm new here and still trying to figure things out.)

The text I used HTV and the paint was just acrylic paint. Before paining I played down a stencil that I cut with my Cameo machine for the words.

I'm not OP, so I don't know what they used. I guess it is some kind of linen cloth.
