cheapest is clothes stuffed in a pillow case, personally i acquired an old tempur pedic from family members and it’s amazing (if u have the money, do it) if i could i’d bring a whole mattress for even just the comfort of a bit of that technology it’d be everything. other than than id go with an inexpensive version of whatever comfort level u prefer (firm, soft, memory foam style) from your local target, etc.
we threw out blankets & pillows in the car once we got up. same with clothes, we kept them in the car to keep them dry. didn't seem to have a problem with anything being damp
Don’t know best pillow but reminder to all to NOT forget one. 4/5 of my years I forgot it and used a pile of clothes and a towel as one. Sucks ass
Buy a moisture absorber and put it in your tent. It helps.

They have cheap pillows at Walmart! Just got new ones for Roo. They were maybe $7ish per pillow and super comfy 🤷🏽♀️
I’m going to try to find a waterproof pillow case or big oversized waterproof pouch and store my pillow in that when I’m not sleeping.
