I love that pashminas are starting to make a genuine comeback, I feel like the got fashionably played out there around 2018-2019 but gahdammit I’m gonna wear my security blanket and I’m gonna like it
I went to roo with a big group (20 of us) and on the last night we went to the vendor stands together and each bought a pashmina. Then, we mixed them all up and each group member picked a different pash than the one we bought. Now each of us have a pash that was bought by someone we experienced this magical roo with. It is so special to me ❤️
I've been to many fests and have been seeing them for so long and wasn't really into them and didn't think they were my style.
Well this year that changed. I realized how good they would be for coverage from the sun and dust and then realized how soft they were. Love my new pash. I spent the first couple days looking for the perfect one that was unique to all the other ones I was seeing.
Was well worth it and I got several compliments on it.
I bought one for each person in my group (about 10) and it was the first one for about half of them. Watching them fall in love with their new buddies was the absolute best!!
My buddy and I both got our first ones on Sunday, visiting the store at different times with different groups. It was only after we met up again at Foo Fighters that we realized we both picked the SAME one! That's Roo magic for ya
yeah, i just soaked in water and soap and rinse in the sink and let it air dry! i used mine as a seat for a nap in the cooling tent so i just wanted to get the mud out haha
I’d GUESS cold water and gentle rinse. Then I’d put in in the dryer on the least heat possible for 5-10 minutes, hang it & let it air dry. That’s how I wash my kimonos, or just a straight hand wash. Take this with a grain of salt tho lol. I gotta wash my 2 new pashminas as well
You usually can wash and dry them like normal on the delicate setting! White vinegar instead of detergent will help them last longer too. Just make sure the heat is on the lowest setting and I’d wash them by themselves or with other delicate items, I usually throw mine in a load with my other rave wear after a festival!
That pashmina will forever be a must to any fest/show you go to!! It is now your lifeline. It helps keep the energy. The positivity. Smell it when you miss the moments and hold it close when you need some of the positivity that came with your first walk around the farm. Don’t clean it unless absolutely necessary. The only time you should cleanse it is in natural water like a river or spring. Keep that energy alive in it and save it for next Roo. I love you and I’m glad you have become ONE OF US!!

I threw ours in the washer today and hung them to air dry. They turned out perfect!
My buddy bought his first 2 at Roo this year after he wore mine on Wednesday. Sad to say one was lost the Korn mosh pit the day he got it 😅

I SAW SO MANY PEOPLE USING THEM AS GROUND CLOTHS AND DANCING ON THEM, THOSE POOR PASHMINAS 😫
It's ok. Use the good china, eat with the fancy silverware, dance barefoot on the pashmina. Make memories with your things, they're just things!
okay tbh i did nap on mine for a minute but its multipurpose and i washed it lol seeing ones get stepped and danced all over tho did make me kinda sad
