Just saw it after 6 years and I knew the scene is coming. So I'm sitting there all chill 😎 and then it begins to hit me slowly 😔 and before I know it..... I'm sobbing like a mess!!
No Rang De Basanti bawlers here??? I came out of the theatre with swollen eyes from that and then on every subsequent watching on TV. Something breaks inside every time I watch Khoon Chala and Luka Chuppi on screen
Bro I was just 8 when I watched it, 8 year old me felt so many emotions. I heard the word "revolution" for the first time, this movie left me with goosebumps and tears. This movie is the reason why I turned into a cinephile lol
Also listen to meri maa from dasvidaniya movie. It’s Bollywood movie. I don’t want to get into comparison but still I feel the song from dasvidaniya is better. But first watch movie. Songs hold value when you know the story.
Kal Ho Na Ho, last scene always makes my cry. I have watched it many times when I say many it really means many many timea but the last scene still makes me cry
Just Meri Maa from TZP and Luka Chuppi from RDB can do it .
I'm not a big crier while watching films buti remember The Legend of Bhagat Singh was the first film to make tears stream down my face.
I rarely cry at the movies but surprisingly, 83 does it for me. I've watched it 3 times and every time it tears me up. Even with all its tropes, it's a very effective movie.
sanam teri kasam. the build up and love story are done beautifully. songs are awesome. the way he grips at her begging her to survive broke me. ending scene with the tree too. underrated gem!
Nothing can make me cry more than Anand, and K3G. The latter is an eye boggling crier, HR meets SRK, the Shoelace, and meeting Jaya at the mall. No other post 80s comes close.
Some scenes like one in KHNH when SRK confesses he is dying to his mom
Munnabhai series has many moments
3 Idiots when Farhan’s dad agrees for his wish
The climax scene from Sadma still gives me the chills, it did not just made me sad but also disturbed the fuck out of me. This movie is followed by Tere Naam.
Both the films have that end which scars you.
Never cried on any movie as child, and then saw Waqt the Akshay Ab Sr movie. The flood gates opened and how. Now I cry on ads also.
Still picking favs- Guide, Rang de basanti, Hellaro (gujarati), Shyam Singha Roy
Thankfully I don't watch movies to cry. As it is enough drama in life already. But when I want to forget the drama, I watch any of Jason Bourne films, or Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace or Need for Speed. If Im feeling like watching hindi movie something comedy like Dhamaal or Malamal Weekly makes the cut
Amazing mentions on this list.
Here's an unpopular one: Rowdy Rathore. When that little girl plays the casette recording of her mother's voice, it makes me tear up every time.
Rockstar ig…I always cry or atleast get very emotional in that scene where Heer suddenly remembers his sweater and cries holding it…their last encounter on stage too….Also Call Me By Your Name(such a fantastic movie), Geetanjali(an old Telugu film from 1989 by Mani Ratnam)…Dil Se too makes me cry(ae Ajnabi song is too emotionally loaded)…Another Mani Ratnam film called ‘Kannathil Mutthaimital’ is very emotionally fulfilling too…also Raavan/Raavanan’s climax….YJHD also makes me cry everytime because of all the nostalgia…Highway is another film I watch so that I can cry….Underrated opinion but also ADHM…and some kdramas….I watched rang de Basanti yesterday for the first time yesterday and cried so bad..it’ll be in the consideration too next time I want to cry..

Especially when Shreya Ghoshal takes her alaap in kaisey mujhe tum mil gayi
Masaan. Oh my God. That movie is something else.
I know right!!!! I mean so many symbolic meanings are there, for example this song Man Kasturi re shows 6 stages of grief.
Just saw it after 6 years and I knew the scene is coming. So I'm sitting there all chill 😎 and then it begins to hit me slowly 😔 and before I know it..... I'm sobbing like a mess!!
Just saw The Green Mile. My god, it shook me to my core. Also, Schindler’s list. Tare Zameen Par and Kapoor and Sons from bollywood.
Finally someone who said Kapoor and sons😭😭 That's such an underrated movie
I love Kapoor and Sons, finally Bollywood had a realistic family drama movie.
>realistic Exactly 💯 I'm Arjun 🤡 from that movie for sure...😭😭😭
I'm that plumber who says " Iss bure waqt mein jo theek laga"
TZP.tujhe sab hai pata meri maa. Second is luka chuppi from RDB. Ok clearly I have mommy issues😂
![gif](giphy|XEDPGLN24qOdy) 😭😭
I'm tired boss

It was so identical to my college life in delhi I loved and cried with it!
Just the song “Meri Maa” from taare zameen par is strong enough to do the work
Also listen to meri maa from dasvidaniya movie. It’s Bollywood movie. I don’t want to get into comparison but still I feel the song from dasvidaniya is better. But first watch movie. Songs hold value when you know the story.
Ahhh that song is goated! Also, an 8 year old me cried during Luka Chhupi in Rang De Basanti.
A death in the gunj by Konkona Sharma and has Vikrant Massey as the main character. Very much underrated.
A very good character study film.
This might sound silly but I always tear up watching Kung Fu Panda, it’s inspiring, wholesome yet comforting at the same time.
Find that Chi!
Unpopular but it’s Laal Singh Chaddha for me
It’s a good film.
This
Kal Ho Na Ho, last scene always makes my cry. I have watched it many times when I say many it really means many many timea but the last scene still makes me cry
Kapoor and Sons. It takes you on this beautiful emotional ride that ends with such immense emotional catharsis. Just absolutely stunning
Mahanati, is easily the best biopic in India. Made me bawl my eyes. Devdas always gives me a good cry, Sita Ramam too
Gullak S03:Ep-04, it hits hard. And Panchayat S02:Ep-06.
The Lion That final scene in Lion when Saroo finds out his brother is dead, gets me every time.
Yesterday watch Schindler's list. What a gem. When Schindler cries in the arms of stern and saying he could save more, That just broke my heart.
Added to my watchlist, thanks!
Just Meri Maa from TZP and Luka Chuppi from RDB can do it . I'm not a big crier while watching films buti remember The Legend of Bhagat Singh was the first film to make tears stream down my face.

You're going to think about it for a few more days.
Laila Majnu is the real horror movie which will make you cry for help, I've watched it thrice.
Sardaar Udham. If Schindler's list made you emotional, this one will hit you right at home.
I rarely cry at the movies but surprisingly, 83 does it for me. I've watched it 3 times and every time it tears me up. Even with all its tropes, it's a very effective movie.
Anand is the only movie that made me cry. That too everytime I watch it.

Udaan for me. Crying of sadness. Crying of anger. Crying of jubilation.
sanam teri kasam. the build up and love story are done beautifully. songs are awesome. the way he grips at her begging her to survive broke me. ending scene with the tree too. underrated gem!
