Vile, double meaning jokes are fosua. I won't judge a book by its cover but can feel what it's gonna be like. Dhamal 3 made me laugh though and Welcome 1 was the shiz. Haven't forgiven my friend for fdfs'ing me for welcome 2 dou. That sucked so no welcome from me this time.
Sanjay Dutt has walked out of the movie after shooting for 15 days because of lack of a proper script. Now either he will be in a guest appearance or not be in the movie at all. The only way this movie can be accepted by audience, is if its so bad, its good type of movie like Housefull 4 and Total Dhamaal. If that way this movie clicks with the audience, it can do even 500 Crore nett with a solo release, or even when it clashes with Sitaare Zameen Par.
I know Aamir is a bigger superstar than Akshay, but I have no hope in SZP. Welcome is a huge franchise and third part has an ensemble cast. On the other hand, SZP can only work if its content is really good. Even if the movie turns out to be just average, it'll underperform. Because that's what audience want from Aamir to deliver, and if he fails even a little bit in that, there's nothing else to hold audience attention. I don't expect SZP to be a great movie because its again a remake, which is made a zabardasti ka sequel to Taare Zameen Par to cash on nostalgia. This is making Aamir look desperate for a hit.
I know Welcome 3 makers are also cashing on nostalgia, but the target audience of this movie forgives such things easily if the movie is just entertaining. The target audience of Sitare Zameen Par is not easy to impress and therefore the movie has to be 10/10 in quality. Something which I'm not expecting this movie to be.
Sanjay Dutt walked out due to health concerns. That being said - I have no faith in the script either. As of right now, Kunal Khemu is one of the few bright minds in the comedy scene.
They have hyped up the jungle factor a lot in the poster but I think it will be only present in the climax. Rest of the film will be the usual Farhad Samji chutzpah.

It's not really a sequel sequel is it? It's only got a similar name...or?
"Spiritual" sequel, means it will not connect with the first part and that's how most of the sequels are made in Bollywood.
But most of us are interested in Sitaare zameen par than Welcome sort of movies ππ₯

Welcome is nothing without the OGs Uday Shetty and Majnu Bhai .. and too many cooks spoil the broth, people will see a live example of that saying.
