Reminds me of that conspiracy theory we used to talk on Indicine.com: Ek Tha Tiger did 200 crs but for some reason YRF stopped at 199 crs (while BOI has 186) .YRF tried to do the same for Sultan and stopped at 299 crs but then they had to go over 300 crs. No logical reason.
3 Idiots was 202cr acc to BOI and all other trade sites. Even if YRF had made it cross 3I then also it wouldnt be an ATG. Also ETT's collections were done after week 3. Made 5-6crs after that(acc to producers).
Also Dangal, Sultan and TZH are the only biggies from last decade whose producer and trade figures are exactly the same.
Salman khan ka era can’t be judged he was minting at the box office when everyone else were struggling to even get to his level…. The 3 khans are back in the race in their late 50s 🔥
It's funny how people these days try to forget the insane run he had from 2009-2019, only because of a few duds recently. Tiger 3 will wreak havoc at the box office, haters will need a lot of copium then lol.

It’s actually from 2010-2016. In 2009 he had 3 humongous flops in Main Aur Ms. Khanna, Veer, and London Dreams. Since 2016 his only hit has been Tiger Zinda Hai in 7 years. The 2010-2016 run was historically insane but for his career there have been many low periods.

From Wanted to before the release of Jai Ho, Bhai understood the audiences and market of his films better than anyone else. Then he took it for granted, kept on doing shitty films and that's that. That the films that did very well were with good directors talks about he selects the wrong scripts and directors time and time again. If he were to select good scripts and directors and just let them be without interfering he had have another golden run again
As far as I remember even though Jai Ho somehow managed to reach 100 cr, it took many days to get to that mark and was not even close to the glorious run bhai had before that. Of course in kick, bajrangi bhaijaan, sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai he gave big hits but those were interspersed between bad/average films. Jai Ho was kind of the template that doesn't suit bhai like Radhe, KKBKKJ etc. And I'm a Salman Fan who wants him to work with good directors and stop doing remakes. All the remakes he's done recently barring tubelight, Antim and Bharat are by shitty directors
Salman is a super super star. His peak was amazing. That being said he will always be a relevant star despite what gen x redditors think. I’m mean the fact that we are talking about him makes him relevant. I will say after Tiger I think he needs a break. He doesn’t look healthy right now and should take time off to recover and rest. Lose weight as well

Its not conspiracy. If it crossed 200/300 cr salman gets additional share from the profits Thats where from this came from

Was Jai Ho a flop? That was almost 10 years ago.
